Good food, interesting ambience

The bar scene was very active. The food was good. If your looking for a steak house with very good food and a funny Matradee that asks trivia questions all night.

My husband and I had dinner at Gabriel's last Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary. We drove in to the valet parking area, and went in the rear entrance which is welcoming with a fireplace glowing and someone there to take your coat and direct you to the host/hostess. We were seated immediately at perfect banquet seating on the side... More

Gabriel's used to be a favorite years ago as a little Italian restaurant. That place has no connection with this place. The steak is excellent. So is the seafood. Ambiance is nice and you never know who you will so. Was that Mark Texiera over there? Prices are sky high. Service does not live up to the food.

This steakhouse is a great place to spend an evening. The bar is attractive and lively with professional and engaging bartenders. There is a fire going in the bar area all winter which is very pleasant. The menu is varied enough for even fussy eaters, with a focus on beef and Italian fare. The seafood is also quite good. Service... More

I have eaten here a few times as some friends of mine do frequent Gabriels. I have never enjoyed the dining experience as I find the menu is overpriced and the dishes lack sophistication and creativity. I dined last night with my wife and friends and found the dishes to be average at best. My entree of seared, sesame crusted... More

Reading other reviews which were so complimentary about the service, I expected the same. So surprised by the level of service we experienced. Our server, Robert, was unpolished and fell short a number of times. Our meal was good and the dining space lovely but we probably won't return. We dine out often, live in town, too many other options.

The service is next to none! Great atmosphere, the food and presentation were just the best! Not to mention Tony and trivia! All around one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time! Highly recommend!!! For any occasion.

Stylish venue with excellent service and great steaks. Quite pricey but worth the expense for a special occasion. Valet parking is also a handy plus.

Gabriel's is tucked just around the corner from what I think is E. Putnam. A neat Italianesque building. We entered through the back door which was a little confusing since it isn't clear where the main restaurant is. You are met by a grand sweeping staircase and 2 story foyer. The dining room which is on the ground level was... More

My wife and have been to Gabriele's three times this year and each time it has gotten better. We went for my wife's birthday with one other couples and it did not disappoint. We started by sharing the Ravioli special along with a cesaer and Gabriele's house salads, terrific. My wife and I had the porter house for 2 served... More
