After over 10 years of being one of my Top 5 favorite restaurants in Hartford County, Max Amore continues to impress. I had my wedding shower here 10 years ago and I still just love the staff and food here! My husband and I went to dinner on July 12th with another couple and sat on the patio. It was... More

I have dined here many times in the last 2 years when working in the area. Good food and cocktails, attentive service and the prices are reasonable as compared to most cities. Lunch is usually fairly quick, but can take longer if crowded. The food is very good, if not great and the menu is fairly varied with several pasta... More

Max Amore is a very large restaurant, but not overwhelming. Service is excellent, and the menu offers traditional Italian entrees along with plenty of American alternatives. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. For private parties there is a nice separate room that seats twenty or so comfortably, and the restaurant provides wait staff dedicated to the private party.

Found this restaurant on Opentable but have had prior experience eating at Max restaurants. Clean, attentive staff, fresh ingredients and good food. Had a daily special salad which was really good. Then had the Veal Milanese. Solid entree for a staple Italian menu item. Very tender and tasty veal cutlets were used. I can't wait to return with my wife.

Visited for dinner, sat at the bar. The bartenders provided excellent service and were very knowledgeable. I have the Fettuccine Ai Gamberi, which was good...nothing mind-blowing though. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would definitely return.

I love Max Amore. Of all the Max restaurants, this is my favorite spot. Great selection of dishes, awesome wait staff, and a nice setting that is not too loud, but has a lively vibe to it. They also have great bar bites before 6pm.

Three out of four of us enjoyed specials which included fish and steak. Although the server was not very descriptive about the specials and was a bit too rushed set at the beginning of the evening, the food was very good. Fish was very fresh with nice accompaniments.

Our daughter, son-in-law, grandson, my wife and I came here after trying to go to Max Fish, which had no tables left. Who knew HH on a Thursday at 4pm would be so crowded!? The related Max Amore was a great find - very reasonable prices, good food and drinks: Calimari, prosecco, wines. An equally good alternative to Max Fish,... More

Food is good, Italian, service good and friendly, located in a small mall with plenty of parking. good place to take children as they have pizza. Tends to be a little noisy.
