We went here for dinner last night. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered beers and from a menu with a lot of good choices. We were surprised when she brought us bottles, we just assumed everything was draft. We asked about it and she said that they didn't have a printed draft list right then and she wasn't... More

If you are looking for a fun watering hole that is an upscale bar and has a relaxed ambience, this is a good place to stop in at. Good food and pleasure workers.

Love the menu at this restaurant - has something for everyone with a slight twist. Service was excellent. Great selection of salads for healthy eating. For living on the edge, the Mac and Cheese is spectacular!!!

This was our first visit and there will be more. The waitstaff was efficient, knowledgable and friendly. The beer list is extensive, but primarily domestic with lots of craft/micro brews. We ordered a plain burger and a Reuben. Both were very nicely done with generous portions. The sweet potato fries were excellent with a fresh flavor and lightly salted. The... More

We were a little overcome by the noise level when we first walked in but it's the happy noise of a local pub! My portobello sandwich and homemade fries were delicious. My husband had their homemade ham and split pea soup. He thought it was the best he'd ever had (except for mine)! My only complaint would have been the... More

I've been to Birch Hill several times now and have not been disappointed. Service has always been excellent; beer selection is great; food is very good - just this side of "excellent."

Birch Hill Tavern is a great place to get together with friends and family. There a two parts to the restaurant. If you want the traditional sit down restaurant there is a separate area for dining. The pub area is in the front part with a great bar and high top tables. I have come here with friends out for... More

Went on a Sunday evening, just getting in town on business. I came from Glastonbury and, honestly, didn't expect to find anything good the farther out I got. But the place is very clean and cozy, great neighborhood pub feel. Had a burger and fries, which were good. Apparently they're big on craft beers, the drafts change quite often and... More

Have been to this restaurant twice and had a great experience each time. Food is delicious - shrimp taco and shrimp quesadilla. Also had the bread pudding which was a killer! Only downside is that it is noisy.

My wife and I enjoyed the visit. Atmosphere is casual. Decor seasoned wood everywhere. Our server Lauren D. was a true professional. She knew the menu inside out and made very helpful suggestions. Our meals were very good. I had the scallops my wife the lobster Mac and cheese. Salad and appetizer great too.
