Sit under the tent by the river and enjoy the sight and sounds of the Farmington River. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. That was ok as we did want to linger. Apricots offers an outstanding Reuben and Lobster roll. A bit pricey for lunch, but worth the money. Take a walk by the river before leaving.

We ate outside at Apricots two weeks ago and the setting is spectacular - beautiful river, a fly fisherman out in the river and warm late spring breezes. Service was very attentive and the food good. A really nice experience and a pleasant memory in every way !

Had a great time last night under the tent as the Farmington river rolled by. Sword fish special was one of the best seafood I have had! Joe the owner was in good form making sure everyone was having an enjoyable time. Place was very busy foe a weekday night but service did not suffer.

Met a friend for dinner and sat outdoors which we try to do when we visit here. Can't beat the scenery for interior Connecticut. The food was fine although not wonderful. The server was very attentive and helpful.

Just attended a afternoon reception. Was told it would be on patio but it was on the river bank. Every thing was crowded and it was so hot because there was no shade and only a couple of tables with umbrellas. The food was not up to par nor was there enough. Cheese and bread with veggies and fruit was... More

We have lived nearby for a few years but never tried this restaurant until now. It was absolutely wonderful! We secured outdoor seating on a beautiful spring evening. Service was great and very slow, which was exactly what we wanted that night. The Farmington River lows just below the outdoor seating tables. It's a lovely sight to watch as we... More

Taking my business elsewhere... I was beyond aggravated earlier today as I was dealing with a Farmington restaurant for my daughter's graduation luncheon tomorrow. Having made reservations ahead of time for 14 people, I called to confirm the head count and inquire about a cake, the hostess connected me to a manager that was beyond rude re: too late to... More

Surprisingly we were able to walk in and be seated right away on Saturday evening. Service was prompt and pleasant and we enjoyed the varied dishes -- one of us had meat loaf comfort food and other mussels in a great sauce. Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the experience overall.

Apricots is a nice night out though the restaurant downstairs is beginning to look a bit rough around the edges - especially the women's bathroom. The food is good but not great. Years ago it was definitely great food - very innovative. Now it's consistently good but the menu is tired. It is the only place in Farmington or anywhere... More
