It was average barbeque at a good price. The baked macaroni and cheese was good. The greens were spicy which I like and the meat was tender. Not a bad place to order take out.

I was looking for another BBQ place, uncle Willie's, but they closed down. That tells me Wilson's Rules Fairfield BBQ ! Typical down the road joint, if you're in Texas. Good variety of wet or dry rubbed, full or half racks with all the sides you could ask for. Order at counter and pick a table. Small dining area. Maybe... More

I couldn't be more fortunate to be a Fairfield resident only a few blocks away from Wilsons, they may not be the best in the country but they are sure close to the top. Consistent quality and an excellent selection makes Wilson's the place to go if you are in the area.

If your looking for great barbecue this is the place. Not much seating, but it is typically not a problem getting a couple seats during lunch.

I love BBQ being from the South and Wilson's although the best in Fairfield, doesn't meet my standards. It's a popular joint so I suppose most of the locals do not hold it to the same standards that I do. They have a wide selection of BBQ items on the menu but it's rather pricey. It's a very casual informal... More

Wilson's BBQ is a solid place that does BBQ the right way. Excellent wings, and ribs. The burnt ends are really good. The portion of the sides are a bit small..and overall its pricey. All in all its worth a try

Mr Wilson knows what he is doing. Period! If you are expecting to get bbq overly sauced like at TGI Fridays then this isn't for you. If you can appreciate the art of well smoked meats then you will appreciate and probably love Wilson's. If you want stuff smothered in sauce you best go down the street to American Joes.... More

Wilson's barbeque is a place you can easily overlook. It is housed within a small building and does not jump out at you as you pass by. But....if you stop......you will be glad you did! The meats are smoked and cooked to perfection. House made sauces are the perfect compliment to whatever you choose. The house made side dishes are... More

We'd seen this place on an episode of Diners, Drive in and Dives and really wanted to try it out when we were visiting the states. We were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious food - we went for the pulled pork sandwich which I'd highly recommend. Also very delicious was the 3 beans - get this as a side, it's very... More

I will i was originally excited about visiting this place after having seen it on the Food network, Diners, Drive-In and Dives. I found the service to be very poor and almost rude. The ahead of me ordered a slab of ribs, with two sides and the person at the counter was upset that the person did not order properly.... More
