One of the Best

Everyone likes different types of pizza. From very thin crust to Neapolitan to Sicilian to Chicago Deep dish (my least favorite). This is coal fired oven Neopolitan. Crunchy crispy crust, great sauce. (Ask for it well done if you want the crunchy black edges--sometimes in the busy rush it is... read more

If you like thin NY style pizza this is the place for you. No frills atmosphere but the selection of pizza toppings is the best. We stopped here last summer on our road trip and we all couldn't wait to go back. Even the locally bottled soda is delicious. My only complaint, this was the smallest glass of wine ever,... More

Crunchy crispy crust, great sauce. (Ask for it well done if you want the crunchy black edges--sometimes in the busy rush it is undercooked in my opinion). EXTRA BONUS: In the summer only,... More

Large facility but there is often a line at the doorway into the parking lot. Best experience is going during off hours when the place is quiet. Great great pizza.

but really not the best pizza....you can find much better pizza in the New York area. Picture is squarish. If you're accustomed to New York style… This is less taste than what you have come to appreciate. The crust is fairly thin and the toppings adequate. Maybe it was just not our day and perhaps the people who lineup for... More

We stopped at frank Pepe's on our way to Philadelphia in July. We had been to the New Haven location before. Excellent pizza at both locations. We highly recommend this delicious pizza!

I've only been to the original Pepe's once, but have been to the Fairfield location a few times. I was there with my family and my in-laws this weekend. We were lucky to be there when their Fresh Tomato Pie is available. We also had an original with cheese. I can't say which one was better because they were just... More

We have been having pizza at Pepe's in New Haven since 1970 and were thrilled when they opened one in Fairfield, CT. They started out having the same pizza as the New Haven establishment but now it's not as good. Still it is great pizza. We got the clam pie yesterday and it just wasn't cooked to our satisfaction. There... More

We have been having pizza at Pepe's in New Haven since 1980 and were thrilled when they opened one in Fairfield, CT. Up until 2015 the quality of the pizza has rivaled that of the New Haven restaurant. We visited the Fairfield Pepe's in June of 2015 and found the pizza and crust bland and lacking in flavor. We decided... More

Pretty good pizza served up here. Not the best I've ever had, but served up hot and tasty. Spit three pizza's between 4 adults and two children. Washed it down, at least the adults did, with pitchers of Peroni. Still had to pack two take away boxes for home. When the restaurant is packed, like it was this past Friday... More
