We decided to try Collins on our way home from Enfield, and we're so glad we did! There are so many delicious and creative flavors. Nicely located on a farm with cows. Super friendly people. Did I mention how delicious the ice cream was?

Fabulous ice cream - great flavors - love the low fat, sugar free pecan praline and regular peppermint stick

Excellent icecream in a quaint farm setting in Enfield of all places. Off on a side street but easy to find, this was a nice break from the commercial side of town. Cute cows to pet and delicious icecream made there.

Just visited here for the first to time after a very refreshing dunk in the Scantic River the ice cream was fabulous. Totally tranquil setting and my cookie dough with hot fudge was creamy and delicious! Worth a trip off 91 for sure!

Collins is our family favorite to get ice cream -- yes, even over UCONNs Dairy Bar! This used to be a hidden gem but their creamery has become known through word of mouth. They only accept cash and are only open in the summer months but what a treat! They recently expanded by adding tables, some with umbrellas which makes... More

The ice cream is great here in the quiet corner of town. Up on the hill it always seems at least 10 degrees cooler than anywhere else in town. Pleasant spot for a cold treat. A little on the pricier side.

Favorite place to go in the area for ice cream. Black cherry is my favorite, so fresh, so delicious! Fun place to go with friends and good for kids.

Just to let you know that this is not a restaurant, it is just for ice cream and shakes. They make the ice cream on the premises and it is totally awesome. They only have outdoor seating as this is located on a farm. They are not open year round as they only sell ice cream. My wife and I... More

With over 250 restaurants in town, there are only a few off the "strip." The creamery is way off, as it is located at the Collins dairy farm! Their Ice Cream is thick, cold and awesome! Order you treat, sit at the outdoor picnic tables, look around at the cows, fields and the surrounding country side. Relax, there's no rush... More

The best ice cream in the area with a view and a farm... great place for young and old alike to enjoy a summertime treat.
