Hands down, one of the best restaurants I've dined in on the East Coast. Elegant ambience, excellent service, nice selection, beautiful presentation, and superb food.

For those of you who remember Karnak the magnificent from Johnny Carson...what does immodium, pepto bismol and rolaids have in common? Carson's answer---> that is what you will need tonight if you ate at Antonio's in East Haven Connecticut. My last review on this previously wonderful restaurant (as well as subsequent visits) were fabulous.......but tonight was bad enough to never... More

I love the chicken parmigiana here! I always swear I'm going to get something else, but then I get there & start drooling for the chicken parm again!!! My boyfriend got the Beef Braciole and said it was fantastic. I didn't get to try it because he inhaled it!!! LOL We like to go here regularly so of course, we... More

While Antonio`s food is very very good, there wasnt enough and we went home hungry. We were at a birthday celebration for a relative and the food was served family style, about 30 people , Bread basket passed, and never refilled, how do you eat bruscetta without the bread toasts? Bowl`s of penne ala Vodka, no where near enough and... More

This place has the best food in the area. We have been eating here for years and I recommend it highly. The food is authentic southern Italian. Many of the selections are found only at Nonna's table. We have entertained "foodies" from Manhattan who have returned here with friends. What can be a better review. I can't recommend any one... More

A relative whom I was visiting recommended Antonio's and I am extremely glad he did! It would have been easy to drive right past and not notice this unassuming place. Once inside, the atmosphere is homey. Perhaps slightly overlit, the dining room was still attractive and reasonably comfortable. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had... More

Antonios brings back the old days - old school flavor and menu. The restuarant has been around for years and was reborn from years ago what is nice is that they have kept the traditional and this can be seen with their specials including the sunday gravy! On a recent visit with friends everyone seemed to enjoy their food you... More

Had a very bad experience as a consumer!!! Went for dinner with a Living Social promotion ($25 for $50). Also had a $100 gift certificate. At bill time, the hostess refused to honor gift certificate!! She stated the gift card was a "promotional item" and couldn't be used with the LS deal. She actually argued in front of customers and...
