Great food and pizza. The place needs a facelift though.

Been a very good customer since the 1980's. The food and the pizza is exceptional without question. Their shrimp casino pie is the best you will ever eat and their sausage pie is also fantastic , as their sausage is homemade premises. They also home make their own bread which compares to non-I've... read more

We live nearby, and absolutely some of the best pizza I have ever had. We usually get take-out for the pizza. We have dined in on a couple of occasions. So why is it average? The service is really that bad, and the prices are high. - No website. No online menu. Makes ordering takeout a painful process. - No... More

I was invited by a local to go to Rosalind Apizza when I asked him where to get good seafood. I thought he was "nuts'. He got the last laugh. The location is back in a residential area so you will not stumble upon it. You have to be looking for it, but if it was a treasure hunt it... More

We still continue to go here when we are in the mood for a good pizza, but the entire menu is overpriced. The waitresses, who I think are family members, really are lacking in the service area. The take-out area is a disaster. The other annoying thing about Roseland is that although they accept charge cards, the tip has to be... More

This place was recommended by a friend who also craves good New Haven Style Pizza! What a find! It was really busy, which is always a great sign. Walked right in and picked up 4 large pizzas. All Thin Crust and just perfect. Kids and Parents were all satisfied. Been around for 65years and we just discovered it. You must... More

Roseland Apizza, hidden in the hills of Derby Connecticut, just a few blocks off a Route 34, is, quite simply put, hands down the best pizza in Connecticut. Their arugula pizza alone is worth the trip. But everything is great. You can't reserve a table; it's too popular. Go and expect a bit of a wait at dinner time. It's... More

We did take out. We ordered 2 large pizzas, 1 was all sausage and the other was 3/4 onion,1/4 plain mozzarella. The take out/ pick up is at the end of the parking area near the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen so we never got to see the restaurant interior. The exterior of the restaurant is a... This restaurant is in my hometown of Derby! I worked here years ago too and my husband would wait up to see if I came home with any leftover goodies! The pizza is fantastic… We love the Roseland special… We love the white seafood pies! I love the muscles too! We have moved away to another state and whenever I... More

I am a huge Pepe's pizza fan but love going to Roseland because of the variety of other foods. Their arugula salad is to die for and pairs nicely with the pizza. Staff friendly and courteous.

We had our first experience with Roseland's pizza yesterday afternoon and it was a great one. We had the Roseland special (their own sausage with mushrooms & garlic) and a mozzarella and tomato sauce for the kids. Perfectly cooked pizzas with delicious crust. Never thought I'd find this quality pizza in the valley. Everyone was so nice I wanted to... More
