Derby has limited restaurant options so when we visited this diner we thought, judging by the amount of the cars in the parking lot, it must be good. Wrong! Although the breakfast are fine, nothing spectacular, the lunches are mediocre. Had Shepards Pie and it was topped with a mound of potatoes rather than the crust I was use to... More

There's a lack if diners in the area, and when the one in Orange closed, we found Valley. I usually take my mother there for lunch, so I can't comment on the entire menu. However, the Spanakopita appetizer this last visit was a huge portion, surrounded by salad greens and large cubes of feta. My mom said it was delicious.... More

I have been coming to the VAlley Dinner (VD to those of us from the valley) for 30 plus years. They make wonderful burgers, breakfast items and fantastic salads. This is a great place to come in the early hours of the morning after a night out. My husband and I loved bringing our boys here when they were little.... More

My boyfriend and I frequent this diner on weekends for brunch. The food is great - typical diner selections, but a LARGE menu to choose from, so there is always something for everyone! The building itself is large, so there is rarely a wait over 10-15 minutes for a table, if that!

It is for the most part typical diner food, but a cut above. I enjoy breakfast there the most. Quick turnaround, and fresh. Waitresses are always pleasant and patient if we dawdle over coffee and gab.

We came at lunch. Place was busy enough but we were seated right away. Unsmiling waitress took our order. Typical diner with typical selections. I ordered Philly Cheese steak fries with gravy. My friebd ordera burger and fries. Food took a while. The burger was deemed so-so. He ordered another order of fries because his came cold. He was immediaately... More

Typical diner type of food. The building has been upgraded and expanded in the past few years.

Okay so my parents both had bland gyros and I had pasts, which I ordered with garlic butter sauce but it came with red. The sauce was cold, and made the pasta cold pretty quick. It was tasteless. It took a while for us to get waited on, and barely anyone was there.

Best French onion soup I've had in a long time. Friend had the turkey club with crisp bacon and great fresh cut turkey.
