Interesting space, former firehouse, comfortable environment, good food and service

Have met friends for lunch several times, food is always tasty and menus change with the seasons. Service is great, friendly and prompt. Love the space for lunch as the sun shines into the front windows that were installed in place of the former garage doors. Parking is in the city garage which is... read more

The sandwich would have been edible but the bottom bun was a soggy mess so there was no way to safely pick it up. Real disappointment.

So...I get a coupon for a free dinner for my birthday month. I am going to purchase a cooking class as I have tried to call a couple of times but they were always busy. I figure I'll do it in person.I forgot the coupon and brought my license. No deal. No coupon, no free dinner. Anyway we decide to... More

Great Menu variety -steak lovers will have a cut prepared perfectly, my personal favorite is chicken Monterey which comes with mashed potatoes, great comfort food. Another favorite is the blackened tilapia. All the appetizers are great, you can sit in the bar and make a meal of just appetizers, Sunday brunch offes some yummy choices from chocolate chip pancakes to... More

My husband and I got married this July (2015). When we first began planning our wedding, we decided that one of the most important things for us would be to have GOOD FOOD to serve to our guests. By selecting Ciao! Catering and Events, run by Tom and Kayte, we got just that (and lots more)! Our wedding cocktail hour... More

Used to eat at Two Steps all the time when my kids were younger. It's in an old firehouse, they used to have boots hanging from the ceiling that people made into things. The kids loved trying to find new ones, then one day that was gone, I believe in wasn't up to fire code. Still a cool old building,... More

My family went here before a Danbury Whalers game...every table gets a free bowl of chips and salsa while you wait. As we ate more and more chips we discovered a eaten chicken wing at the bottom!!! EW! Will never go back because of that.

I had the best time when my hubby and I found this place. We had been traveling all day, tired and cranky by the time we found a place that was still serving at 10 pm. We were so happy to find this lively fun place. We had some fish and shrimp and drinks. Then they had this really fun... More

We enjoyed our visit there. We went to hear the live music & sat at the bar before dining. The bartender made recommendations about beers & was very friendly. I believe his name was Tyler. Our dinner was very good. Loved the ribs & sweet potato fries! The band was great & NO cover charge!
