There are only two things I eat when dining at Chuck's: Filet Mignon and Scallops. The two dishes are out of this world. They are also quite expensive. But this is a rare treat (no pun intended...) for me and I am willing to spend that kind of money for the deliciousness. Overall ambiance is very Steakhouse, it's rather darkish... More

Chuck's is conveniently located next to the Residence Inn in a Danbury. Good salad bar, variety of items on the menu. Chicken entrees are large but tasty. Friendly service.

Chucks is an a la carte steak house with an upscale menu. I liked the atmosphere and the service was good. But for between $25 - $35 / steak (comes with salad) + sides and a beer (good selection) I expect a little more. The steak came out absolutely charred on one side and acceptable on the other side. The... More

I went to chucks a few weeks ago to treat her to a birthday dinner. we ordered the early bird prime rid special. the meat was awful-the potato was okay and the salad bar was okay. it didn't have many choices. the service was good, but i was very disappointed. chucks used to be a great restaurant-not anymore.

Chuck's is a faithful stand-by restaurant. It has a really good salad bar. Food is good. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. However, it's a little on the expensive side.

Dinnertime is ala carte at Chuck's. However, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM is early bird where you can get a main course with a side. Their salad bar and bread basket are great at any time. However, at early bird, I had baked stuffed shrimp with seafood stuffing and green beans; beautifully presented and very tasty. My companion had crab... More

I have grown up in the Danbury area, and Chucks has been around for as long as I can remember. Located right down the road from the Danbury Fair Mall, it is a great option for moderately fine, but casual style dining. The meals are moderately priced, and certainly worth it. The steak and seafood options are always excellent.

You should try Chuck's Steak House but try it for a special time. The service was okay but slow. Since our group had about 20 people they had to wait for a long time. The ambiance was really pretty. They have fish tanks and nice pictures on the wall. The private room that we were in wasn't really decorated but... More

As a long time customer of Chuck's Steak House in my hometown and other venues, I was very much looking forward to the dining experience at this location as well. Much to my dismay it didn't compare. The food was average at best. The salad bar was decent as was my glass of wine, but the food (we ordered clam... More
