Not a good steak house

Expect less than good for a steak or any sides that you order ,everything is alacarte and expect a large bill at the end , and drinks are pricey Need to renovate those old old uncomfortable wood benches and smelly carpet.fir a start.Go to Rracis in brewster instead you won't be disappointed.

Took my fiance here for his birthday hoping it was a nice steakhouse. No. No. No. So dated and gross. They chairs are old, worn and literally have wheels on them?! The salad bar looks like its 1972 with overly thick dressings and side salads heavy on the mayo. The entrees were well cooked but under seasoned. Its dark &... More

Great old-school steakhouse that literally hasn't changed in 15-20 years. I lived in Ohio for many years and this was one of my first restaurant stops when I returned to the area. The decor made me feel warm and cozy and reminded me of many meals that I had here when I was younger. The salad bar may not be... More

The car park was jammed when we arrived, so I wasn't hopeful of getting a table. However, I suspect Chuck's is much larger than I thought since we were seated in a couple of minutes. We had salad from the salad bar which had a good selection and the cajun fish I had was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the meal, evidenced... More

I try to avoid chain restaurants, but was feeling easy-going when a friend suggested Chuck's & agreed to try it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I tried the Cajun pork chops and he had a burger. The pork chops were very very good, not too spicy and perfectly grilled so they were still moist without... More

My wife andI went for lunch on Sat around 1:30.It was busy but not packed, we were seated immediately. My wife went to the restroom while I stayed at the table to look at the menu. I have been here before with my son my wife has not. My wife came back, and we continued to sit there for 10... More

We arrived for lunch on a weekday just before noon. Shortly after we were seated, the restaurant filled up very quickly - alarmingly so for a weekday! However, service was not slow and the food was still great. I had the BLT, which exceeded expectations. The fries were delicious and the cole slaw was also very good. One dining mate... More

This restaurant has been around for a very long time and it's always been very good. It's moderately priced for a steakhouse, which is great these days because in my experience steakhouses tend to be very expensive. Plus they have a nice salad bar. The restaurant is huge with an equally huge long parking lot, which can sometimes be a... More

The place is dark, though if you seat by the fireplace it can be romantic. The salad bar was good enough, but I found the entrees to be too pricey for their taste. Would return only if I had a reduced-price lunch.
