There was a group of ever changing size as we had our departmental Xmas party. Although the hostess was not able to find my party, it was not hard for me once I went down the tables a bit. Drinks were served promptly even though I ordered a rather passé drink of Dubonnet on the rocks. Chicken wings and various... More

Too dark, too expensive. Menu very limited. Waitress very hard to understand spoke broken English. Would have liked lemon in my water but not offered.

Good place, good food, ok service, ok quality. Overall Max40 is just like any other restaurant, same appetizers, same quality, good wine list and unless you are a regular you will receive exceptional service, otherwise it's just another restaurant on your list.

My visit has been a couple years ago when they first opened. I went with 2 friends and we all had fish (different types). All dishes were dry. Drinks are great there, the bar is nicely stocked. If you go for "Happy Hour" (not sure they have it but you get the idea), you should be fine. I have not... More

I agree this place seems to be more of a business gathering type restaurant. As I would not go on my own. The salmon was good but nothing to rave about.

I've gone to Max 40 several times for work dinners. The food is consistently excellent and it's a great business atmosphere. The place is very modern and a tiny bit stodgy so it's perfect for more formal business gatherings while for more informal gatherings, I'd pick other places in the area.

I've been coming here for about three years. This is the first review I've written. I like to try new places but my failsafe or one of my falesafw restaurants is Max 40. You can always count on great atmosphere, Music, Elegance, great food....

I was in town for business and a few people recommended this restaurant but stated it's a hit or miss. I decided to try it. I was early for dinner and the service was very slow. I waited at least 20 minutes before I was asked for my order. I ordered the salmon, veggies, and salad. The salmon needed more... More

Max 40 is my go-to restaurant in town for a business lunch, dinner, night out when I don't feel like cooking or Saturday night with friends. The menu is very diverse - which is normally concerning to me because I am a firm believer that restaurants can't do everything great - but they seem to have figured it out. The... More

Stopped in here for a drink or two after shopping. Really nice atmosphere and the drinks were good, but went to the ladies room and had to hold my nose. The smell was TERRIBLE. Talk to the bar tender and they apparently have some sort of sewerage problem that they have been dealing with for over a year. Smell is... More
