Delicious thin-crust pizza using local ingredients

Stanziato's is very popular, so be prepared to wait. The wait is worth it, though. There is no such thing as a "typical" pizza here. Though one can get the "usual" toppings, preparation and presentation are not all all like the average pizzeria. The mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and other vegetables... read more

The pizza was very good, the price was fine, and the place was nice to look at. More trendy than I remember from having visited it a couple of years earlier. The food comes out pretty quick. I had a salad and the pizza with the duck on it, both of which were very good.

Fresh pizza, fresh salad. Great match-up! 6 pm on a weeknight and it was packed! All pizza is made to order. Four of us each had our own 'small' salad and pie. Salad menu makes choosing tough, and they are agreeable to altering ingredients. Pies are perfect. Crisp, thin crust, good proportion of fresh toppings. The oven makes it all... More

Went there on a friday night with the family to try it out. You would pass by the place if you did not know about it. Once inside the menu is just fantastic. they have real brick oven pizza as well as other gourmet selections, very surprising find for the area. Price was right as well. we had the special... More

Stopped by for a Friday lunch by myself. Nice craft beer selection. A modestly-sized menu. Wood-fired pizza was very tasty (piggy piggy; a white pizza with bacon, sauteed onions, balsamic drizzle and tomato), and some were unique for sure. Just the right amount of char and crunchy-ness. Absolutely loved the salad; very fresh and light tasting. I don't say that... More

Love everything on the menu! May very well be my favorite pizza in the area. So much flavor and of course the beer makes me happy too. With 10 craft beers always on tap a beer flight is a must!

One of my favorite restaurants in Danbury. Not your typical. Very creative gourmet organic pizza. There can be a wait but it's well worth it in the end. Not only are the pizza's good but the salads are fantastic. The winter salad is by far my favorite. Romaine / Grapes / Apples / Spicy Pecans / Gorgonzola / Maple Balsamic... More

This is by far the best pizza in town. Delicious types of pizzas to choose from and gorgeous crust. The gourmet salads are the best I have ever had; plus the awesome dressings made right there. And to top it all off, they use organic produce from local farms. Great spot to take the family or just a night out... More

Exterior is deceiving - except for the packed parking lot. Indian spiced wings, pepperoni pizza, a couple of stouts - everything was GREAT. Nice young crowd. Funky friendly staff. Warm casual decor. We'll be back over and over.

use you GPS and locate this great restaurant. Just went with the family for the first time this week. As they say on their website, "We source real, organic, clean and in-season ingredients from local farms and artisans whenever possible". They offer starters, salad, red or white pizza and penne. Simple menu, but the choices are fantastic. We started with... More
