Augie's is Great

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. I love Augie's and we eat there often. Any pasta dish is great. I especially love their homemade sauces. Try anything with their vodka sauce and you will be hooked. Probably the best chicken parm I have ever eaten was here at Augie's. Even... read more

Augie's has the best home made marinara sauce in Danbury. Their chicken park is also delicious. He sells his sauce by the container and it can be found at Stews and Costco. Stock up you won't be disappointed. Augie is a delight and always remembers his customers names. Delicious homemade Italian bread to complement every meal. He also runs specials... More

visited on 6/16 around 6:30 pm. waitress started off nice but appeared to be too busy and was very impolite. She bumped my husbands chair 3 times and never apologized. My friend requested a slice of lemon for his shrimp cocktail and was told no. He said excuse me and she said NO WE DONT HAVE ANY AND DONT BLAME... More

Stopped in with another couple on a Tuesday night. The others in my party had been there before but it was my first time. As soon as we walked in, I could see it was one of those bustling places with a lot of energy. The hostess greeted us, told us there was nothing open at the moment but it... More

My husband and I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. The food was a lot of bang for the buck and we understood why people liked it. It is a red sauce italian restaurant and the baked ziti I had was fine. My husband had a Lasagna and was the weirdest concoction I have ever seen... More

I've eaten here from 2006-present. Always happy! Always a great meal. My brother uses Augies to cater his kids Bday partys. Taken my EX gf and now my wife here. Love everything on the menu. And Augie is super friendly. His staff knows me as a regular. My fav dish is Baked Ziti with meatballs cut into pieces baked in... More

There is no wonder this is a Danbury favorite. Food great. Service excellent. Prices very reasonable. Will be back. (Apparently they also cater and do a good take out service.)

Delicious Italian dishes, great value. A table of six of us all had different meals. All were delicious and priced right. Friendly wait staff as well. A neighborhood place in a strip mall, nothing fancy but we will return

I have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal or bad service. They are great people that work hard to keep their customers happy and full. A lot of people end up taking food home due to the amount you are served. They offer specials daily and are closed on Mondays. You will not be disappointed... More

Augie's is always good and dependable. It's a family oriented place and you always run into people you know. Just love their chicken dishes---with proscuitto, mozzarella...OMG! I always bring the rest home for a second meal. Creamy French onion soup is delicious. My friend loves the seafood salad.
