Can be hit or miss with some nights food prepared better than others. Informal dining, food served promptly, wait staff is friendly.

Love this place. Great Italian food. Try the fettuccini Spasi. It's one of those dishes that I wind up ordering all the time because I can't resist it.

We were going up to CT for a memorial service for a very good friend who passed so decided to go up night before and stop along the way. So at arriving at hotel asked desk for dinner recommendations and clerk mentioned Spasi. Living in Philadelphia area we have many really, really good Italian bistros and restaurants but we were... A friend & I met there for lunch to catch up. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere & the food. I was glad that they did not rush us as some places do at lunchtime & our food was delicious. The caprese chicken was wonderful. The lunch prices were very reasonable.

Very inviting looking restaurant from the outside with a covered patio and pizza oven that you can see from outside. Once step inside, you see a bar and separate dining section not too big. Tuesday night not busy in dining section. Menu is mostly normal Italian dishes and then we notice paella! Calamari appetizer trio is excellent with homemade sauce.... More

My first review - just had to vent. I had been looking forward to an evening out with my college daughter. While the company was great, that is about all I can say, I experienced a waiter who seemed very disinterested in our table. While he answered our questions, it seemed to be a chore. My zuppa di pesce, a... More

Menu is like the old style Italian restaurants - pizza, pasta dishes, chicken parmigiana, veal scalloppini., etc. Food was hot and was tasty. Prices were not overly priced. If you like the restaurants that you went to 30 years ago, this is right for you.

A friend of mine recommended Max 40 but we wanted Italian so decided to try Spasi. Big mistake! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. and the dining room was totally empty. We should not have ignored the signs. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent (remember, we were the only ones... More

The food here is delicious and the presentation of it on the plate beautiful. What is a shame is that service is terrible. Sometimes when a restaurant is busy you have to wait - our server hung out at the bar side and that was that. We waited twenty minutes for a class of wine and finally got served our... More
