A friend & I met there for lunch to catch up. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere & the food. I was glad that they did not rush us as some places do at lunchtime & our food was delicious. The caprese chicken was wonderful. The lunch prices were very reasonable.

My first review - just had to vent. I had been looking forward to an evening out with my college daughter. While the company was great, that is about all I can say, I experienced a waiter who seemed very disinterested in our table. While he answered our questions, it seemed to be a chore. My zuppa di pesce, a... More

Menu is like the old style Italian restaurants - pizza, pasta dishes, chicken parmigiana, veal scalloppini., etc. Food was hot and was tasty. Prices were not overly priced. If you like the restaurants that you went to 30 years ago, this is right for you.

A friend of mine recommended Max 40 but we wanted Italian so decided to try Spasi. Big mistake! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m. and the dining room was totally empty. We should not have ignored the signs. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent (remember, we were the only ones... More

The food here is delicious and the presentation of it on the plate beautiful. What is a shame is that service is terrible. Sometimes when a restaurant is busy you have to wait - our server hung out at the bar side and that was that. We waited twenty minutes for a class of wine and finally got served our... More

Spasi's is an institution in Danbury. Very conveniently located and serving lunch and dinner, with seating under a covered, heated patio as a popular option, this is still our "go to" restaurant for Italian food. The meals are consistently good, and service is always terrific. We have never been disappointed, and keep coming back...with kids, with friends, with colleagues. Not... More

Stopped in early New Year's Eve without a reservation. We were seated in the bar, which was fine and not noisy. Our server was excellent and our meals arrived quickly and were very good. Have been here a few times before and have never had a bad meal. Consistently good!

My daughter and I meet here because it is half way for both of us. We ate here first, last year and picked it because of it's location. It was close to the mall but not too close to be affected by the traffic and parking associated with this time of year. (December) So we met here again today and... More

Was out for a working dinner. Nice place, with outdoor seating possibilities. Guest room somewhat dark, but still ok. Menu nice with a variety of choices. I went for a pasta meal and it was tasty and pasta cooked "al dente" which I appreciated. Salad aside also very good. Service was very attentive. Will definitely go back if I happen... More
