Food was Okay, service lacking!

The sushi was good, the chicken with cashews was just Okay. The service was really lacking. Every time you want something it was necessary to flag down a server. They did not look to see if you needed anything & did not offer to refill water or soda or tea. They took the soy sauce & never brought... read more

A group of us decided to go to Koo for hibachi. We had enough for two tables so the chef worked in the middle. He was very entertaining and quite funny. As always, the food was good regardless of what we ordered. A definite keeper.

So, my daughter just loves this place. Food is always oksy, but my daughter wants the shiw. Thus last visit, our "Chef" was as disinterested as he could be...like he wanted to be anywhere but there. He never smiled, did almost no show and the cooked ...mostly with his head down. No interaction with the patrons at the table.....boring! Fortunately... More

So we went to Koo on a Friday night. Since its location is within 100 feet of 4-5 condo complex's it's always packed. Parking lot is small and you may have to wait it out to snag someone leaving. So my group of 6 was seated in a back room with a group of 3. It was cold and we... More

We called ahead to make sure we could use the groupon we purchased, and they were very welcoming on the phone! We were placed at a wonderful corner table that was very quiet and perfect for what we were looking for. We ordered a single tuna sushi for our appetizer, and the chicken pad Thai with green Thai chicken curry... More

This was our third visit and we were very satisfied with our experience. We had sushi and sashimi, not hibachi. The dishes were well prepared and imaginatively presened. We had the shumai dumplings, the tuna tiramisu, the tuna maki, the yummy roll, and the spicy crunchy tuna balls. I would recommend all of them. Very tasty and appealing. Service was... More

My husband and I have been eating at Koo at least weekly for 6 years. At one point when we were renovating our kitchen we were grabbing quick dinners there as many as 3 times per week! I'll start by saying that I recognize both the interior and exterior have gotten very tired since they first opened. However, if you... More

Our party of 3 recently went to Koo for dinner. It was a fairly busy evening in the restaurant however we have been there when it has been busier. Sat at the hibachi and ordered appetizers. One appetizer ordered was a crab tiramisu special. And it wasn't cheap. And when it came to us (finally) it was made with fake crab.... More

Went the other night for my daughter's birthday, as Koo is her favorite restaurant. It was early, so the four of us were the only ones at the table. Started with the usual, friendly server for our order. The chef then comes out. To me, he seemed a bit rushed, uninterested and very scripted, doing all the little "cute" things... More
