Everything looked so good..

My husband and I were driving from Maine to Philadelphia and decided to stop for lunch. I looked at Tripadvisor to find out what was available and found the Cromwell Diner. We where looking for a place to stop on the way to Maine, and saw the sign on the highway for the Cromwell. As we hate chain food places, we always look for locally owned places while traveling. This restaurant fit the bill for what we where looking for. Nice neat and clean place, with ample parking and a large... More

It's a fairly large restaurant with some characteristics that allow it to be called "a diner." Food is consistently good, prices pretty reasonable, wide variety on the menu. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday less than a month ago. It was pretty crowded, but the service was still good. It's a noisy place. By that I mean that... More

Great breakfast! Large portions, well cooked. Swift and helpful staff. Wear pants, though, the place is quite chilly.

I hadn't eaten at the Cromwell Diner since my high school days. I was pleasantly surprised that the food and service were just as good as they were then. My family stopped in for a mid-week brunch, and everyone left satisfied. I enjoyed the Baby Benny with home fries, while others had sandwiches and omelettes. The portions were huge, so... More

Service was fast, excellent, we had a great waitress, Heather who stopped by and check on our needs often. I had the breakfast BLT with eggs, it was OK, a bit on the dry side, my husband enjoyed his eggs Benedict. It's an easy walk/drive from the area hotels (there are at least 3 I saw in that area) and... More

We stopped in, and enjoyed a nice blue-plate-special, along with dessert and drinks. The food was great, the service was excellent, and prices were reasonable, especially considering the amount of food. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. It's fairly good sized and it was clean. Our waitress was blah at best...she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. At least she got our orders right. The food was good but nothing to make you rush back. It close to I-91 so it's really convenient. If you need... More

We stopped at the Cromwell diner as part of our weekend breakfast tour around the area and had the best hash and eggs I've ever had. Homemade and definitely not the kind out of the can. All restaurants do the typical bacon and eggs, pancakes and such so we're always looking for something different. If your passing through and looking... More

This diner is pretty large and has good parking. The foods are ok and the prices are better. The service has always been good too. It is little on the quiet side even hen busy, feels little back in time, lots of diversity in age in its patrons. They have vege patty melts..awesome!
