A perfect place to have lunch with friends or dinner with your sweetheart! I will admit... I love this place and visit about once a month! Quant (reservations are a must on the weekends) and cozy inside, but they have a wonderful porch with additional seating and a heater. The menu is small but that's because everything is made fresh!... More

Hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. They have great gluten-free pasta, delicious salads and yummy canolis. The value is great and the service is always very attentive. I live out of town but enjoy driving to Colchester simply for this restaurant!

Cafe Mangia is a small place, not too many tables and they seat the overflow outside even in winter months by closing in the porch and pumping in heat. The menu is not extensive, most of the dishes are pasta courses. The Pasta Fagioli was terrible, not even close to a soup, more like the sauce you might get with... More

I've been here 3 times. The menu selection is pretty limited and the food is just ok. The place is small, so it is usually packed. The staff is polite, but the service is slow.

Visited Café Mangia last night. Wine made it to the table and my dinner partner's appetizer, but after waiting another 45 minutes it finally occurred to me that there was a problem. So I mentioned to the bartender who happened to be the owner that I had been sitting down for almost an hour and a half and had yet... More

I've dined here for lunch and dinner. The food and service is great. I prefer lunch dining because it less crowded. I've dined twice in the evenings and my only complaint was the noise.

Dining by candlelight, servers by Wendy's......The candlelight was so dim that we couldn't read the menus and the servers wearing denim was such a miss match. We waited forever and kept hearing "bread them up", we were eventually served two slices of bread from a fork with some dipping oil. My polenta was dry and flavorless. We won't return.

My husband and I decided to stop here for a late lunch. I found the restaurant on the web while on the road so we stopped on a whim. We almost drove out of the parking lot because there were no other cars but we are so glad we stayed! The staff was very friendly and knowledgable of the menu.... More

This has quickly become my wife and my favorite restaurant. It has become our perfect date night experience. The owners and hosts are great and always greet us with smiles. The food is always excellent and if your lucky enough to visit when they have their filet of sole special with the ritz cracker topping order it. Its amazing. It... More
