If you're looking for a great, local restaurant to dine at, the Log Cabin is your place. I'd recommend the Chicken Parm or the Chicken Jennifer, but they always have special available. My wife and I visited the log cabin recently with some friends, after touring the Thimble Island brewery. My friend and I ordered the Seafood De Pesci with a Fra Diavlo sauce that was amazing. It was loaded with clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp, and calamari and we both thought it was amazing. Our wives both ordered the lobster (and I... More

My twenty something daughter was feeling down so we decided to out to lunch and do some shopping before the next snow storm came that afternoon. Off we went with my other daughter and I told them I had been wanting to visit Log Cabin because I heard so much about it and I try to visit a different place... More

Iy's like a throwback to the 1950s. Enormous portions of bland food. Very uninteresting. Unless you want leftovers to eat for a week, find somewhere else to dine!

If you are real hungry? Then you must go here. The portions are incredible! You cannot eat it all!! The lunch specials are enough, dinner size in most other restaurants. The pork hops are so large and they come with a huge bowl of ziti, it's for one person but could feed four! And..... It is a log cabin. Huge... More

Not only is the food great but the portions are out of control. We usually leave with enough for another meal. The food prices are good and the drink prices are even better. I've sent numerous people there and all have loved it.

We've been staying nearby in Westbrook for several years and were just told about this amazing gem. It's a busy, somewhat noisy family restaurant ( not for a romantic couples evening ); however the food more than makes up for it. Highly advise to share the entree. Included in dinner was a fantastic salad (we had the vinaigrette and Gorgonzola... More

I have been going to the Log Cabin for 12 yrs now. I absolutely love this place. I have brought friends and family every year. Never have we had a bad meal. Service, well...We've had good servers and some poor servers. That like any restaurant is hit or miss. Looking forward to bringing family here again in November. So need... More

The addresses wrong in Trip Advisor. It is on E Main Street not Boston Post Road. We had to call for directions after out GPS took us to another town. We were warned the portions were large but were still unprepared. The entrees come with salad and pasta served before the entree as they do in Italy. By the time... More

Taste, speed, service, quantity, quality, always spot on. I have been there many times over the years and it's the most consistent ever.
