We have been enjoying Chips Pub on Sunday's. The food is great. Our favorite appetizer is Buffalo Shrimp and Buffalo Chicken. Their burgers are amazing and the cobb salad is excellent. The bartender on Sundays is right on! Excellent Gimlets.

I've been going to this restaurant since it's been opened, and I think the only reason it survives is because it's one of the only sit-down restaurants in the town. The food is overpriced and always just...OK to bad. It's pub food, but it's never put together right. Sandwiches and salads lack fillings, food overall lacks flavor (besides grease), and... More

We use to go to Chips Pub II over in Guilford, CT years ago which was a lot of fun. Chips III is just as good. It's been there for so long now it's a must go to when we're in town. Great selection of beers and good pub/comfort food to choose from. Come for a night out with friends... More

This is a place my wife and I eat at every week. The owner runs a great business and it has thrived in town for many years as a result. The atmosphere is great, the food and service are consistently good.

Starving... Googled something off the highway. Food was great. Service was really slow. Took an hour for lunch. Three of us had something different. Clam chowder outstanding. Cheeseburger. Philly cheeses steak. Grilled cheese panini outstanding. Just need to bump service up.

The type of place where everyone really does know your name. .The bar is active and drinks are generously poured by friendly bartenders. Food is better than average...burgers are large and delicious. Prime rib on weekends is a real treat. A good place to stop after a long day of shopping at Clinton Crossings.

We stopped in at Chips Pub III on a late afternoon to have some drinks and nachos. We are on the quest for the perfect nachos, and have found noteworthy nacho plates in other restaurants, but this one takes the prize. We ordered the regular chili nachos, which were LOADED with sour cream, chili, guacamole, jalapenos, and real cheese, not... More

We've been going to Chips' on a regular basis for quite some time. We no longer live in CT but we always make sure to meet up with old friends at Chips' whenever we're in town. They have a decent selection of beer on tap, and also cocktails. Good pasta. The California burger is awesome! If you can, sit at... More

Chip's is our neighborhood restaurant. Whether I want a glass of wine and apps only or a prime rib, I know I can go there and it will be good. The service is fantastic

the only real downside of this place that we go to often... you enter in the bar area and it smells like spilled beer soaked into the wood - would be better if they had a second entrance for dining room. The french dip, wraps, and sandwiches are good, nice size for the price. They have root beer floats (which... More
