Hot lobster with just enough butter and lemon on a toasted roll, hot dogs or sausage & peppers-chips, assorted refreshments; served to you on a deck right on the water or under a canopy should you desire shade. You can bring your own salad or other table items to make your own dinner party. The crew at the Lobster Landing... More

Stopped here for a break from the traffic and general unpleasantness of I-95 and it made life all better. Lobster roll has no mayo, just butter and lobster - yum! Beautiful view from deck. Only complaint is that restroom is a port-a-potty but it was remarkably clean.

My husband and I drove down the coast specifically to get a lobster roll for the first time. We recently moved to CT and all we hear about are lobster rolls. I did a little google search and found 5 in CT that were recommended. Lobster Landing was the furthest from us but from the pictures and the reviews in... More

We happened upon the Lobster Landing and decided to try it. Their menu is limited....meaning exactly 3 items on it....lobster rolls, hot dogs and sausage and peppers. There is outdoor sitting overlooking the water where you can watch boats go by. Very nice, very casual atmosphere. You can bring your own salads and other foods as well as BYOB. We... More

We have to stop at the lobster Landing as soon as we hit Clinton CT. This outdoor shack serves up great food. I however, am partial to the Lobster Roll. It is served on a full toasted bun with nothing but real butter. There is nothing fancy about this place, but the owner takes pride in his menu and the... More

After a recommendation. By two close friends, I made the trip from my home to Lobster Landing. To say it is unassuming is truly and understatement! The restaurant is built right on the Clinton Harbor and the food is simple and wonderful! Go there NOW before the Food Channel publicizes this place and you won't be able to get near... More

Lobster Landing has taken me back to my childhood growing up in the summers on the Clinton shore. The owner is from Italy, and is easy to spot with his ever fashionable bandana. Its simple: Lobster caught, boiled with spices, salty water and butter. Topped with a squeeze of lemon. Placed on the grill on a white roll. Delicious. Sit... More

Never tried the lobster rolls, though I am sure they are delicious. We live locally so we can pick out our lobsters, ask the excellent staff to cook them, then take them away in buckets and have a very satisfying feast in our own backyard. Strongly recommend this for anyone living between Branford and Old Saybrook.

We make a detour to Clinton whenever we can for the incredible lobster rolls they make. Simple and to the point. Just fresh, delicious lobster, and a great roll. No frills, but who needs them? This is a place to take every visitor and don't miss it if you are in the area. For a special treat, if he's around,... More

They serve the best lobster roll in New England. They take fresh lobster, place in a bun with lemon and butter; wrap in foil and place on a grill. You can bring your own beverage of choice (beer, wine, etc.) along with any side dish, sit outside (enclosed during the colder months) and enjoy. It does not get much better. They... More
