We have eaten at the Brushmill by the Waterfall many times and always had a wonderful meal. On Tuesday we went and they had a special menu that included Prime Rib or a Mussel dish over pasta. Including a soup or wedge salad, and dessert. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and seasoned... read more

We have enjoyed visiting the Brushmill for 10 years now. The ambiance is wonderful, and the history and stories about the mill are hard to surpass. The owner, Angelo, is a gem and truly loves his business. We decided to bring our friends who were new to town to the Brushmill on Wednesday night. After ordering a round of drinks,... More

We had a very enjoyable dinner. We started with salads - freshly prepared and tasty. For my entree had the orange glazed salmon with a baked potato and broccoli. My husband had the lemon crusted chicken with mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. We both enjoyed our dinners. We passed on dessert because we were too full. We had very attentive... More

This isn't our first time at this restaurant. To begin with it's located in a charming setting which used to be an old mill. A brook...waterfall...bridge. Inside the charm continues. Smaller dining rooms in a rustic setting. The food was very good. Prime rib was outstanding...perfectly seasoned and cooked. Scallops were equally as good. Would defiantly go back again. Must... We went to Brushmill with our friends for dinner after seeing a matinee at Goodspeed's Norma Terris theater. Our reservation was for 5pm, and we arrived a little early so we went into the bar for drinks first. They made my wife's girlfriend, Anette, an excellent pomegranite martini. jane had a glass of Malbec and Tony an Amoretto. I was... More

Neat setting and atmosphere! The restaurant is in a cool old mill building with a waterfall right at the side of the building. The waterfall is visible from a few different areas in the restaurant as well as the patio area which is pretty much next to it. We had a party of 4 and sat at a table in... More

I went here for a birthday after reading about it elsewhere. The atmosphere is awesome and we loved the waterfall and exposed ceilings. The place was somewhat busy so I was glad I had rsvp'd before arriving. We sat upstairs looking out a window at the water, which was beautiful. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, which was really... More

Loved this charming restaurant in the winter; can't wait to see it in the summer time. We were visiting friends who took us to this restaurant for dinner. It's in an old mill beside a waterfall, and I'm sure the outdoor setting is quite beautiful in the summer when it's green and warm. Still, we enjoyed the waterfall (we sat... More

I saw the inconsistent reviews but wanted to try because of the great setting. It is a very large restaurant in a romantic historic building. Very rustic and cosy. The menu is not particulary diverse or creative. We all ordered prime rib and salads, figuring they would do a good job at it. They did do a good job. The... More

Visited with friends for Valentine's dinner, their choice not ours. Had been there when it was the Chart House which was disappointing and not much has changed other than the name. The location is the only thing working for the place. Very scenic, old mill style with a river and waterfall. You cross a covered pedestrian bridge to enter the... More
