The comfortable place to go in town. Good drinks, food just okay. Bar area, dining room, and deck for warm weather. Can get busy in the bar. Happy hour free appetizer.

The restaurant tries to be all things. It's part raucous bar, part pub and part fine dining. It's better as a bar/pub than for fine dining. The Victorian House is best on simpler things like sandwiches and pastas. Sometimes it seems a little worn and tired. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again but it's okay... More

There's a good variety on the menu. We mostly get dinner to go while on the way home for work, but we do frequent the establishment with family and or friends. They have great salads, potato skins, burgers and sandwiches. I wish the beer selection included more local varieties but it's not bad. They could really nail that here. One... More

We ate here twice this week. I had the lobster sliders on the first visit, they were unbelievable. Tonight I had the French onion soup which did not disappoint. Again, everything is always great at the Vic.

Always an enjoyable meal at the Victorian House. We prefer to sit in the bar area, but they have a lovely dining room. The staff is courteous and accomadating.Their French Onion Soup is one of the best around. Panini's, Turkey Clubs and their make your own Burgers are awesome! If you sit in the bar, don't be surprise to see... More

Lost reservation - then had to wait for 20 minutes - found reservation; ran out of special sirloin (blue and Black) -- ran out of baked potatoes! All in all ok, but no big deal.

The Victorian House has been a refuge from the daily grind for decades. Located between a bank and the Post Office on one side and the Senior Center and Volunteer Fire Department, the Victorian is an escape from the daily hustle-and-bustle around it. The lounge at the back of the Vic is a happening place, with lots of regulars in... More

Needed a nice atmosphere, good food place to celebrate my sister's birthday. Loved the warm fireplace and beautiful dining room. We usually sit in the bar and eat pub food. My baked stuff shrimp was delicious and our entire party loved their meals. Great choice for a small celebratory group. Definitely will go back.
