First of all, I must address the negative reviewer. This place is tiny, like a NYC bistro. Get over it, it's part of the experience. Reservations are a NORMAL part of life, get over that as well. The food is fresh, and the owner likes to know how much to buy/prepare. It's not brain surgery. Try to think beyond your... More

The sauces make all the dishes here! If you love pasta, you certainly need to try here! I had such a beautiful meal with my family!

best Italian food in the Farmington Valley. Interior is on the small side, but the food is top notch. Another bonus, it is BYOB. Garlic Bread is a must. Every pasta dish has been superb. Service is A+ as well.

The dishes are out of this world. The array of appetizers is fantastic. Creativity abounds with bursting flavors. The main dishes are very delicious and large. That you can bring your own booze truly helps keep the cost down. However the tightness of seating the often stifling temperature and the very poor acoustics keep me from going often. I have... I'm hearing a bunch of negative reviews on a place that should have nothing by rave reviews. I'm sure the disappointed diners may have been looking for something like a pizzaria. This is not a Pizzaria. This is, however, an authentic, Itialian restaurant with wonderful meals and BYOB. I've been here a number of times and everytime this place impressed... More

Hm, sad to say, I had hoped for more, despite the bad reviews on here. Firstly, two waitresses work together, one is really nice, the other, well, don't get on her bad side!! Salads are just plain lettuce with dressing. Boring. Garlic bread that costs extra, too small. Pasta dishes just ok, sauce not anything out if the ordinary. It's... More

First off, the place is so small that you can watch the chef and the dishwasher as you eat! It's located in a strip mall. When I walked in the door no one greeted me so I sat myself (there were only 2 tables occupied). The waitress came to my table and asked if I had a reservation (I laughed... More

I went back to Buon Appetito after hearing friends rave about the place - because others in the group wanted to try it. A few years back I was unimpressed, and it's gotten worse. We had reservations which was likely unnecessary - when we arrived we made our way around a very long table to the booth beyond, assuming they... More

A friend and I went for an early dinner. Our waitress (Lee) was excellent. She gave a very detailed list of the specials. We were served very quickly, but not rushed at all. It was a pleasant experience. My entree was the lemon chicken over linguini and it was very good. Brought about half home, as the portion was most... More

Went for dinner with my wife last night. I had been there once before, 6 yrs ago, for an office party. We brought our own wine-bottles already opened, $1.50 pp corkage fee. Started out nice. Empty restaurant (no other patrons at 5:45). Waitress was friendly, explained the deletions from the menu before she described the specials. Very small place. I... More
