Before I begin to describe my horrid experience at Brunch this late morning on 7/20/14 I want to give you a background on my culinary/gastronomy knowledge. I am a frequent visitor to various restaurants around the country. I have sampled food from West Coast to East coast –all over the world. Food is something that I am very passionate about... More

This is a great place to unwind. Food is exceptional, service is impeccable. a relaxing evening. No place else makes a Cesar Salad this perfect. Steak Diane and Penne ala Vodka are our favorites, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Consistently great! our go-to place after a hard day.

It was a horrible experience. We waited 15 mins to get bread and water, when the waitress realized we didn't have any water or bread she asked the bus boy and he said "No, I'm busy", so disrespectful to speak to someone that way, and in front of customers. She was apologetic, but the bad service continued. No one was... More

How do you review an old friend. A restaurant that you have gone to for decades. For the Gerber Family this is perhaps our most visited and most beloved restaurant. Whether Its Andy leaving the Bar to make Dad Steak Tartar or the wonderfully prepared Tableside Steak Dianna or Cesar Salad, the most consistent high quality Veal Parmagianna this is... More

Once again the staff at La Trattoria has excelled with another of their German Nights. These are held twice a year and not to be missed. The food was delicious and the best Weiner Schnitzel I had since leaving Germany. All the fixings and extras were appreciated. The ambiance as usual was super. Our server who was new to German Night... More

Last minute decision. We have lived 10 minutes away from this restaurant for 12 years, but other than a going to a private party, we had never been there. We will be back. Varied menu, very tasty and fresh. Chicken francese was crisp, subtle lemon sauce, fresh pasta. helpful friendly staff. large drinks. great fresh bread. Peanut butter pie for... More

Sorry Trattoria. For many years you were THE place to go for a special treat. But after a long absence and a return to visit the area you have dissappointed us with less than mediocre french onion soup, stale bread, expensive oysters the size of a pea, and a fra diavolo with a tomato sauce that appeared thickened with corn... Service was good. Dinner was okay. The figs stuffed with blue cheese as an appetizer were good. One of us had the salmon with mashed cauliflower & spaghetti squash with marinara sauce. The salmon was dry. The cauliflower was like eating oatmeal - blah and mushy. The spaghetti squash must have been the end of what was available as there... More

My family and I are big fans of La Trat in Canton. We go at least once a month - and if my parents happen to be visiting, this has become the go-to place for all of us to have dinner together. The staff know my kids by name, and they treat everyone with such care - it shows every... More

La Trot has spruced up its dining room finally, so that it looks more like a modern restaurant than the old-fashioned, homey place out of the 1960s. Unfortunately, however, the food seems to have gone downhill as the décor moved up. In our party of four, only the salmon eater (roasted, with a side of mixed vegetables) was happy with... More
