189 has a great atmosphere if you're looking for somewhere to go with your friends or on a date. The drinks are good as is the service. The food is consistently good and is a step up from standard bar food. I find the food much better here than in the big restaurant in the plaza behind it. Want to... More

My boyfriend and I had a miserable experience at this restaurant. The decor is not impressive. The food came out late and cold (the beer was warm) and the service was horrid! I had told our waitress that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and asked her to bring over a piece of cake with a candle in it. She... More

Had sirlion steak and it was delicious. Only issue was the food temperature was not piping hot, so I sent it back. Dinner came back still not piping hot, but was warmer. Overall it was delicious. Other meal was salmon and that was delicious. For the temperature issue, I received a complimentary dessert, any dessert off the menu. That was... More

Went at lunchtime for a sandwich and a few beers with a colleague of mine. Incredible draft beer selection on tap. I had the raging cajun chicken wrap. It was not too spicy and had a good amount of meat. My buddy had the french dip. He loved it. Waitstaff was friendly and everything came out quick. Check was very... More

This is probably one of our favorite spots for lunch/dinner and whenever we have friends visiting we like to take them here (not a chain but very good food.) Love their garlic bread and gorgonzola appetizer and the best burgers we have found in the area. They have happy hour specials and fun trivia. Only complaints are that the service... More

Went here with my grandson and four adults. We had fish & chips, a burger, and a chicken pesto sandwich! Appetizers were garlic bread and wings! Service was great and food was excellent!! No complaints!! Prices were very reasonable!!!

Unlike typical "sports bars" 189 Sports Cafe is a breed unto itself. While it offers the normal sports bar ambience, it does so with a quaintness and food that is outstanding. Both the bar area and adjacent dining area are small but tastefully decorated with TVs galore - even at the booths! The wait staff was highly attentive, service was... More

I ate here a few times now and am always impressed with both the food and the service. The staff keeps your table clean and cleared and the food comes the way you ordered it everytime. I ordered some food that was off the menu and I was just told "that is no problem, how do you like your fish... More

This small sports bar has really wonderful food. My wife and I go there very often and we have always had a really good meal. There are lots of TV's everywgere if you like sports - but for us the food is why we go. Also the service here is very good and the staff is attentive.
