Drab and dreary describes the atmosphere and the food. Stopped in for breakfast because the were supporting the Little League tournament. Not a good decision. The waitress was unengaged and unfriendly, until she gave us the check. She twice said she would bring water for tea, but never did. And the restaurant was not busy. I ordered an omelet, but... More

How do you screw up scrambled eggs? Rubbery & tasteless. It's always been bad and I've given up trying anything there anymore.

Terrible I think people that go there have lost their taste buds and common sense. Mostly over 60 customers

Great place to " meet and eat". So pretty with the Christmas decorations....not overdone. Tasteful. Service was excellent. Or waitress Sarah was attentive and checked back twice to be sure everything was fine. Just a breakfast get together, but my food arrived promptly, and it was hot and delicious. Coffee never allowed to get cold either..and it was FRESH. I... More

I recently went here for breakfast. The food was good with lots of egg and omelet options. I had the corn beef hash with poached egg. It was a satisfactory meal with a fairly large portion size.

We happened to be in Bristol for vehicle maintenance and stopped at this restaurant for breakfast on Saturday, November 17, 2012. The seating, service and food was excellent. Will definitely go back. This restaurant has a diverse menu including some Greek Specialties which we both like.

Applewood has evolved over the years from a place that I used to avoid to one that I now frequent about once a week. Significant improvements in the preparation of the food, along with their participation in the American Airlines Dining Program have made me a true devotee of this place. As with most diners, you can get just about... More

We go to this diner at least twice a month sometimes more. It is our go to when we can't agree. We have had a lot of their specials. The fish is what we mostly eat because we know it is fresh and not frozen. If he runs out of fresh, he will tell you its frozen. Always fresh vegetables... More

This isn't the typical place we eat. The storm took out the towns power for weeks and thus was one of the open ones. Portions are just right, no wasted or over eating. Very inexpensive . fast service, decent coffee!! ( I shudder over most inexpensive eateries coffees.) The prices make this a local hang out for seniors and families.... More
