A friendly environment

Had a juicy sirloin, with tasty mashed potatoes. Food is excellent but even better is the sympathy of the barman. I was alone but really felt in a place i am comfortable with. I also discovered they serve novel food.....T-bone filet 😀 Recommend this place, good people

My wife and I went to Joseph's Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary. Our meals were outstanding. The service could not have been better.

We had gone here years ago and was underwhelmed, especially after making our party of 7 (that had a reservation) wait for over 45 minutes because there was a pre-game crowd goign to an event. (I know reservations are not a science but geez, 45 minutes?) Thought we'd try it again. Pretty disappointing. Usually we go to Blackstone's in Norwalk... More

When people said that the prices were outrageous, well I thought how bad could it be.... well I almost swallowed my tongue. WAY over priced, if you are looking to be fawned over by the staff.. by all means go. This said, the bacon appetizer is fabulous. We sat at the bar, had the app, a salad and wine... not... More

The food is very good. The lobster bisque was the best we ever had. The French onion was okay but we've had better. The Porterhouse for two was huge and good, but the prices are so inflated that I wouldn't rush back. We could have gone out twice and enjoyed the food just as much for what one trip to... More

Short of driving into NYC this is by far the best steak around! I've enjoyed dinner there many times and have never been disappointed. The porterhouse for two easily serves three. Make sure to try the bacon appetizer!

Last minute decided we wanted a good steak....we got great. We had no reservation and they worked us in, albeit later than they said. No worries, was a little later than we wanted to eat but was worth the wait. The fried onions are a nice addition to the steak Porterhouse for three is the call no matter if you... More

The prices are comparable to those of the major chain steakhouses (Chris,Morton,Capital Grill, etc) but the beef is not as good -- not as high a grade of prime. I also found the service somewhat slow and lackadaisical the day I was there. On the other hand there aren't that many choices in Bridgeport so its a good place to... More

Every once in a while I crave a steak. So I pop into Joseph's steakhouse. I sat at the bar. I ordered a porterhouse steak for two and the home fries. The steak was delicious and the home fries with the special steak sauce was satisfying. To top it off I enjoyed the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. The... More
