The bacon steak appetizer was good-- I have never seen that before. The mashed potatoes were really good too and the service was outstanding...

I have to admit I was a little disappointed. The steak was good, not great. It was cooked unevenly, and some pieces were tough. The tender, properly cooked pieces were tasty, but not better than an Outback steak. Morton's and Ruth's Chris are much better. This is not Peter Luger's. The bacon app. was great, as was the steak sauce.... More

This was our second time going to this restaurant. The food was very good. The waiter was nice. I like it when you can joke around with the waiter. There was a problem last night. There was a party next to us that was loud. Not only loud but, saying things that were inappropriate. The management asked them to keep... More

I know they aspire to match Peter Luger's. They don't match the quality of the meat, but it's still very good -- in my opinion a shade better than Morton's in Stamford. And I live in CT so don't want to travel to Brooklyn -- besides you can get a reservation here while Luger's is a nightmare for that. Cooked... More

I recently visited Joseph's Steakhouse this past Valentine's Day. I experienced the worst overpriced meal I have ever eaten. To start off the evening we were seated by the window, which was extremely drafty. Given the fact that it has been so cold out it was not a big concern. Then they served cold bread and extremely hard butter, which... More

Overall good food all around. The staff is a little odd (it was really hard to understand our waiter and he was a little old school and arrogant) but overall not bad. The mushrooms were excellent, veal chop was good and chicken franchise was superb!

For the area the steak is good. It does not meet the criteria of Lugers or wolfgangs but is certainly a decent steak and sides. We would return!

The Salad For 2 Was Quite Tasty. I Had The Single Sirloin, It Was Cooked Just The Way I Like It And Was Very Tasty. Although I Normally Don't use Steak Sauce I Was Compelled To Try Joseph's Homemade And Was Quite Pleased With The Taste. We Also Got A bread basket That Had Two Different Breads And Crackers. The... Friends who had just moved to the area took us for lunch to Joseph's. After we were seated, and ordered, we waited for an extremely long time until our food arrived, with the apology from the waitstaff that he had pushed the wrong button when ordering Philly steak sandwiches. When the food arrived, the sandwich was lukewarm and the fries... More
