This little family-owned restaurant on Main Street in Bridgeport, CT is well worth a visit. The Italian dishes are fresh, very well prepared, and come with a nice, tangy red sauce. Of special note are the restaurant's Eggplant Parmesan and Ziti Genovese dishes, but in our many visits, we have never had a disappointing experience. On weekends expect a line... More

This is very annoying as food tends to be on the salty side and glass holds about three sips. Dinners are rather pricey and the... More

The entrees are very tasty, but be ware they skimp on the veal orders, not a great value. The pizza used to be one if my favorites and the fried calamari, but no more. The large pizza is more like a medium and they have also have skimped on the ingredients. It too bad bc they really did have one... More

Whethere we call for pizza or go in for a dinner we are never dissappointed. Any pizza delicious. Chicken Marsala dinner and Chicken Parm grinder are the best. With any dinner or pie I always order a house salad with their dressing.

The pizza was just ok. A bit oily for me but it was edible. If you're in the Bridgeport area do yourself a favor and drive the extra 4 minutes to Fairfield, CT as almost all of their pizza restaurants are better than Mario The Baker.

Mario's has been around forever and one bite and you will know why, I have been going to MTB for decades and it never disappoints, pizza, pasta whatever it is all good and portions are a very good size no skimping there, seating and parking are very limited we usually opt for takeout

We have eaten here twice. The first time the food was wonderful. We returned this weekend to sample some more. Our selections...I had one of the nightly chicken specials the first time. Definitely a winner! Hubby had the veal parmesan and I couldn't believe he ate the whole thing. Plentiful and flavorful. Both entrees included warm bread (with cold packaged... More

Small local restaurant with some of the best Italian food in the area. Mario's is always a favorite of mine. Good variety of meal options and their pies are great too. A place where you won't get rushed out.

This is one place the whole family agrees on to eat. Whether it's the delicious pizza or the yummy pasta dishes, there is something for everyone. Not fancy, just delicious.
