It was an average hot dog place the good thing is that everything is made to order so things are not sitting there. But i though the hot dogs were average and the burgers too. That's what We had went we went. Prices average as well the hot dogs around 2.25 and burgers 2.50 they have a big menu but... more

Although it ain't what it used to be, the "Canteen", as locals call it, is one of the more well-known independent "eat-it-and-beat-it" places remaining in the Bridgeport area. The hot dogs are excellent. The chili sauce will make you cry- it is that hot. Real mean get a dog with chili and onions. Or with "the works". Canteen etiquette is... more
