Nice, Solid restaurant... won't WOW you but...

Happy Hour is quite fun, as long as you bring your own group. The same with brunch. We enjoyed the varied brunch menu and have been back on several occasions.

The place was almost empty yet it took nearly 20 minutes to get our appetizer. The food tasted like it was microwaved. We had the spinach artichoke dip and nothing about said fresh. The tomato soup had absolutely no seasoning. I had to add so much salt just to make it edible.

My wife and I were stuck for one night in the post-apocalyptic wasteland known as downtown Bridgeport at the only hotel in the area. We walked to this eatery (which I wouldn't suggest after dark). I expected more after checking it out online. I assumed the eatery would really play up more on the Barnum circus theme, considering the area... More

In town on business and decided to try it as its close to the judicial building. I still needed to get work done it was nice to not be constantly hounded with "is everything ok" every 10 minutes considering I was making calls and reviewing documents and slowly eating my food. The fish tacos were good nice and crispy and... More

This is an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat! It has a very historic feel to it and the service was top shelf! I had the Salmon and it was done to perfection, but many others had the steak and chicken and everyone was happy!

We returned just a few weeks after our first experience eating there, because the food quality and choices were quite satisfying. I loved the butternut squash ravioli with cranberries and hazelnuts in the sauce so much that I ordered it both times! The menu has a lot of tempting items, both comfort foods and more unusual items, so I'm sure... More

Nothing too exciting about this place but the food was pretty good and so was the service. When we arrived on a Sunday evening about 7pm, there was only one other couple in the place. Only a block or so from Webster Bank Arena, I could see this place getting busy after the games or shows but tonight it was... More

Made an on-line reservation for six for dinner prior to the UCONN women's basketbal game. Received an email confirmation for the reservation. Showed up for dinner and were told that they didn't have a reservation for us. I showed the hostess the email confirmation on my phone and she said she would go speak to the manager. She left and... Haven't been there for anything other than the brunch, so my review is specific to that. This is not a huge place but it is hugely popular for Sunday brunch (probably because of the groupon/living social offers?). Make a reservation or be prepared for a wait, especially in the summer - although outdoor seating in the warm months adds much... More

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon while waiting to take ferry home. Food was fine but the service was terrible. When we walked in I noticed what appeared to be the kitchen workers sitting at the bar. Not a good sign. Our table was dirty, our waiter didn't know what beer they had. He never checked in on us...
