Elegant and delicious!

Le Petit Cafe provides an intimate setting for French cuisine across from the Branford Town Green. All meals are prix fix and served with freshly made bread. Service is great and meals are fabulous.

Last night we had another wonderful dinner at Le Petit Café. The food, service, and ambiance was excellent. The fixed-price menu offered a great selection of French cuisine. The multi-course dinner was never rushed. One of our party is a vegan. She called earlier to inform the chef of her food preference . On arrival, the chef greeted our table... More

When the owner, personally, called me back to confirm my reservation, I knew there was something unique occurring. And, when he greeted us at the door and seated us. We knew we were in for an experience. Little did we know. The cozy, soothing ambience is augmented by the kind and attentive staff. And the sumptuous fare met our wildest... More

We had not had dinner at Le Petit Cafe in quite a while, so we were looking forward to getting re-acquainted with an old favorite! The limited prix fixe menu was varied and interesting: we relied on old favorites, such as Chilean sea bass as a main course. It was perfectly prepared: firm, moist, substantial (we also had duck leg... More

Just dined at Le Petit Cafe for a superb evening of food and relaxing atmosphere. The food as always, just excellent. We have come for many years and every time we come back, we are always pleased. The truffle butter with warm bread...ahhh. The french onion soup was just the best I have ever had. Intense flavor, hot and fragrant,... More

I always have a fantastic experience whenever I visit Le Petit Cafe. Roy, the Chef, is fabulous always friendly and very personable and so is his wife, Winnie. I love the ambiance, small, elegant, personable, excellent food, friendly staff and wonderful prices. They have a Prix Fixe menu that is terrific. Every time I visit Le Petit Cafe I tried... More

You know you are in for a special dining experience from the moment the chef’s warm crusty bread and truffle butter arrive at your table. This opening note just introduces the extraordinary quality of the dinner to follow. Having eaten at Le Petit Café on several occasions, I can recommend everything on the menu. I cannot say this of any... More

We have been to Le Petite Cafe many times , but not too often because there are so many courses and so much to eat that you cannot resist, manhattan quality, and you come away stuffed, and it's all so wonderful. So if you haven'nt been, go and pace yourselves, but eat ad much ad you can.

Over the years, we have been big fans of Le Petit. Through thick and thin, even when it closed and converted to a prepared food take-out store, we patronized. But we hadn't been back for several years and, of course, in the interim, Roy Ip had received many accolades after reopening as a restaurant. All the more reason to be totally... More
