Le Petit Cafe has never failed to serve the highest quality of fine food since they first opened. Last night the menu was especially delightful from the gazpacho topped with avocado and crab meat to the sushi grade Ahi tuna with the most delicious crusting to the always delicious flour less chocolate cake. Roy and Winnie are warm and gracious... More

Amazing food. Lots of options. Great deal. Very small and romantic. Right by the Branford Green. Worth a visit!

This was my second trip to this lovely little French restaurant in Branford, Ct. The owner and chef comes from China. It has been highly rated by Zagat, and is a steal for the money ($54 for a 4 course price fixe dinner). Service is very good and the setting is small and quiet. Menu is limited but excellent. You... Roy and Winnie Ip have created a restaurant which is the perfect setting for life events! Each four course meal is wonderful. Diners have a choice of appetizers, entrees and desserts and are also treated to a salad course and delicious home made bread. The atmosphere is French bistro; the noise level never rises to an uncomfortable din; and the... More

Very nice little French spot tucked away on the Branford Green. They were happy to accommodate us for a late seating on a Friday night- the hostess, server and chef/owner were all so warm and friendly. Plentiful options on the prix-fixe menu along with amazing fresh baked bread. It was a really great night and wonderful food. Go and enjoy!

My wife and I go here because it is a special treat. Everything is out of this world. Roy, the owner chef makes the entire meal one to remember. We truly enjoy the rack of lamb. It is prepared just the way you want it cooked. The fixed price arrangement allows you to experience a variety that you might otherwise... More

A special occasion place for sure, this is one of my wife's favorite places for a birthday dinner. Reservations are a must! This was our third time dining and was probably the worst of the three. The bread, beats, and truffle butter are ridiculous to start. My wife had a special soup (mushroom and cheddar) and I had my duck... More

When trying to make reservations at the restaurant, I left a voicemail for them to call back. Unfortunately, my wife had to deal with the person who returned the call who was absolutely the rudest person we have encountered in years. She spoke to a person from the restaurant, who kept referring her to the restaurant's website, rather than answer... More

I dine in NY often and was expecting a superior meal at Le Petit. We received our appetizers - escargot and duck - both good, but lacking sauce. I thought the French were known for their delicious sauces - not in this case, very sparse, which made them on the dry side. Salad is delicious, especially the goat cheese -... More

This is the place to celebrate any special occasion in your life. Chef Roy always delivers great food and the atmosphere is like dining in a Parisian restaurant. You could make a meal out of the fresh hot bread spread especially after spreading the truffle butter on it, but save room for the desert. I need to have more special... More
