Very nice little French spot tucked away on the Branford Green. They were happy to accommodate us for a late seating on a Friday night- the hostess, server and chef/owner were all so warm and friendly. Plentiful options on the prix-fixe menu along with amazing fresh baked bread. It was a really great night and wonderful food. Go and enjoy!

My wife and I go here because it is a special treat. Everything is out of this world. Roy, the owner chef makes the entire meal one to remember. We truly enjoy the rack of lamb. It is prepared just the way you want it cooked. The fixed price arrangement allows you to experience a variety that you might otherwise... More

A special occasion place for sure, this is one of my wife's favorite places for a birthday dinner. Reservations are a must! This was our third time dining and was probably the worst of the three. The bread, beats, and truffle butter are ridiculous to start. My wife had a special soup (mushroom and cheddar) and I had my duck... More

When trying to make reservations at the restaurant, I left a voicemail for them to call back. Unfortunately, my wife had to deal with the person who returned the call who was absolutely the rudest person we have encountered in years. She spoke to a person from the restaurant, who kept referring her to the restaurant's website, rather than answer... More

I dine in NY often and was expecting a superior meal at Le Petit. We received our appetizers - escargot and duck - both good, but lacking sauce. I thought the French were known for their delicious sauces - not in this case, very sparse, which made them on the dry side. Salad is delicious, especially the goat cheese -... More

This is the place to celebrate any special occasion in your life. Chef Roy always delivers great food and the atmosphere is like dining in a Parisian restaurant. You could make a meal out of the fresh hot bread spread especially after spreading the truffle butter on it, but save room for the desert. I need to have more special... More

Hartford Courant (CT) rated this as equal to the French Laundry. Le Petit Cafe prices are much more reasonable and the food and atmosphere are hard to beat, It is a small restaurant and open four days a week. While reservations are recommended, the Sunday we were there were several empty tables. The four course fixed price of $54 gives... More

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was incredible. I had the lamb chops for my entree, and my spouse had the sea bass. Both were delicious. I can't wait to go back! It was definitely not inexpensive, but I think the price is a good value considering all the courses you get and the high... More

Imagine this. You are a restaurant owner chef. You have a following, you win national and local awards. Then one Mother's Day, some yahoo walks into your restaurant and orders cerviche with scallops and then complains that the scallops are "raw!" Then they ask for ketchup to put on the Chilean sea bass. You get the picture? The next morning... More
