Closed; new French restaurant opened in its place; very good! Visited Dec 2013. Le Petit Bistro… went with 4 of us; everything was good!

I'm a bit shocked at the negative reviews. While the theater shows great movies, we could see the same movies in Norwalk, which is a lot closer to home. But we come to The Bethel Cinema for Cadiz. Typically, we go once a month or every other month and have always found the food to be quite good and the... More

So surprised about these bad reviews. I love coming here for a date night. It's a small place and lighting is dim which I think is romantic. It's attached to a small theater so it makes for a nice diner and movie night. They have a small menu but that is because they only serve in season and fresh ingredients.... More

Pre movie dinner with friends. Made it clear that we had a deadline. "No worry" was the response. Bottom line, we ate some very average tapas while sitting in our seats in the theater. Food, while certainly better than popcorn, was so so. The prices were high. The service downright surly. Ambiance, in the restaurant, was okay, but we ate... More

The worst dining experience I've had in recent memory; the food was over-seasoned and one dish was under-cooked; they put alcohol which contained gluten in a dish which was labelled as "gluten-free" on the menu; the place was pitch-black, with no lighting to speak of and bad R&B and salsa music blaring out of the ceiling; the CREEPY chef and... Having a selection of different foods is a new way for us to eat. We really enjoyed it. The dishes were wonderful. We had the Walnut salad and Greek salads, and shared the mushrooms (incredible), chicken with artichokes (excellent), chicken empanadas (excellent) and flourless chocolate cake (amazing). The server was wonderful, as were her peers, who chipped in. A great... More

This was our 2nd visit. This was a "dinner & a movie" night out. Tapas menu changes and has varied seasonal choices. Value is excellent including reasonable wine choices. Inform your server of a movie time and they will work to have you across the lobby to the theater in time for your show. Thursday evening is great deal when... More

We love tapas restaurants - but this one disappoints. The atmosphere was ok -- nothing great - very small, but ok. The service was severly lacking. Very slow, inexperienced wait staff. Wouldn't let us have a larger table, though there were many available. The food was less than good - in fact, we simply could not eat one of the... More

I am actually surprised with some of the negative reviews. My wife and I have dined at Cadiz on 4 separate occasions and enjoyed each experience. Yes, the pace is slow...but that's what makes it so great. You are not rushed to eat and run. The quality of the food is really wonderful. The menu changes every once in a... More

Horrible, food delivered piece meal over 2 1/2 hours. Not a kid friendly menu or restaurant. The Chef refused to cook the sliders well but guess what, they arrived that way. Requested sliders with only the pork & roll for a child, arrived loaded. Lastly, the waitress was nice & apologetic but my family will never go back. Restrooms are... More
