Very nice looking restaurant. We went on a saturday night and it was very busy. Very noisey, could hardly hear my wife. We had to yell. The food was nothing special. Mediocre italian. Pasta dishes were ok. Small portions. Kinda expensive.

Our friends highly recommended La Zingara to us knowingly we very much appreciate a good meal and service. First time we went we tried the food, and to be very honest everything was absolutely blend. Needless to say the service was just the bottom of basic. They have their regular clients and that's were their focus stays. We went another... More

How is it possible that in a bowl of close to 20 mussels, only two were plump and tasty? The shells were either empty or the mussel so small and shriveled you needed a magnifying glass to see it. The beet and fig salad might have been tasty if the beets were sliced instead of pureed to pulp along with... More

The only 5 star restaurant in Bethel! They change the menu seasonally. They have such a wide variety of delicious and inquisitive dishes! I must also recommend the Sunday Brunch, which has unlimited Bloody Mary's and Bellini's (peach nectar and champaign) with your meal!

Sorry, but last few visits have really been disappointing. Lamb chops were really tough. Charged for refills on soda water. Really? CO2 and H2O not cool. We tried, but not returning.

My husband and I have eaten here several times and our meals were always delicious. Nice atmosphere, very clean and friendly polite staff. One of our favorite places.

Recently dined with my wife and her cousin. Upon being seated the waiter explained the daily specials, which I promptly ordered. Arugula salad with lobster followed by wild boar tagliatelle was fantastic. We also went with the wine of the day that was perfect with the meal. Wish I lived in the neighborhood as this would be my favorite restaurant.

There hasn't been a time we have been here (and it has been over 50 times) that we have been disappointed. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, including the staff.

I had a weird experience on my wife's birthday a couple of years ago. We ordered surf and turf and calamari. Both were ice cold to the touch, though they were cooked. Not sure how that happens or if that's a standard practice. When I say ice cold - I mean refrigerator temperature - very cold. I actually implored the... More

I have eaten here a few times and most recently on Sunday evening for dinner. We were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter however he smelled of cigarette smoke which was of putting. We ordered a selection of appetizers which were wonderful and we were so looking forward to our main meal, our dinner host and my husband both enjoyed... More
