We love going to East Tokyo. They have fresh sushi and delicious Chinese dishes. A quiet relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommendations- Kani salad and the Berlin roll. Very yummy! You won't be disappointed if you check this place out.

This restaurant is next to Shop and Shop. Do not let the outside fool you. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared, the staff is attentive and the place is clean. I have been to the restaurant about 10 times and each time I have been pleased. I do not eat much, but I still like to go on the... More

We order from here very often & sometimes dine at the restaurant. The sushi is always fresh and the meals are excellent.

Very good, fresh food. Appreciate the varied menu. Sushi, Chinese, hibachi. Hibachi is not table side but fresh and much better quality than the over-salted show at other "hibachi" restaurants. Sushi is fresh and carefully prepared with flare. We were a table of 7, brought our own wine. Our server supplied glasses for our wine. Service was extremely pleasant and... More

My family has been frequenting East Tokyo at least once a week for years. It's our favorite for a our weekly sushi night, birthday dinners and take out. It is by far the best restaurant in Berlin for both its meals and its service. Don't let the location ( in the plaza next to Stop and Shop) discourage you- the... More

There aren't too many places to dine in Berlin, especially if you dont' want to go to the turnpike to one of the chains, but this Sushi place is a gem! We eat here often both take out and dine in, they never disappoint, I would be lost without it.

I frequent this place for lunch as it is close to my office both for dine in and takeout. The service is always prompt and polite. The food is fresh and well prepared both from the chinese menu and the sushi menu. The chinese food is not heavy or greasy like a lot of other take out places. The dining... More

Lots of creative sushi entrees. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly. When we want some good 'fast' food, we call East Tokyo! Never been disappointed.

Berlin is a funny town. It has a pathetic looking downtown, and is usually considered as a bedroom community for people who have moved out of New Britain or Meriden. Drive around town on a weekend during the dinner hour and you'll find a dozen pizzeria's, all of which are full of suburbanites munching away on mediocre generic pizza that... More
