Good food,

We ate here the other day. I had a pot pie which was good except it was probably more soup than turkey. It should have a better filler with carrots, green beans and corn as well as the main item of turkey.. My wife had an omelette which she said was excellent. The portions here are good and it's... read more

Used to go often before another restaurant for breakfast came into Woodland Park. It is small and doesn't hold a lot of people. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Should have stopped at Denny's instead. The breakfast was average, the table rocked like it was in an earthquake, service was spotty to poor.

There's one thing about popular restaurants - I don't mind waiting to be seated if there aren't enough seats, but I do mind that it can take forever to get my food. I'd seen this place a number of times on US-24 and decided to give it a shot. The wait was long, but it was a beautiful day and... More

Very friendly wait staff. Comfort food that takes you back. I never ordered an appetizer at a breakfast place before, but make sure you order the cinnamon role to share. It is yummy and gets you ready for the Eggs Benedict or California Bennie. People were enjoying Chicken Fried Steak, Reubens...and it is a great place to stay dry in... More

Had breakfast this morning, and it was great. The staff are so polite and friendly. The restaurant is small, so when people have to wait to be seated , be patient. The staff is doing their best. The fact that the restaurant is full tells you their food is great.

We were looking for a breakfast spot and ran across this place. Parked in back got seated right away, must have beaten the crowds because within 15 no empty seats were left. Very friendly servers, food was ok portions seemed small. prices were average. Nothing outstanding about the place just a local place to eat breakfast.

We went on Father's Day so I did expect it to be busy. We waited about 35 min to get seated. Another 15 min later our drink order was taken. All the staff were very friendly but really busy. We finally got our order in and it was 45 min later! The food was delicious we had the skillet that... More

The best chicken fried steak breakfast around! My husband and I eat breakfast here (served all the way through until 2:30 p.m. closing time) about once a month. We've tried other items, but always come back to the chicken friend steak menu item. Service is always prompt and friendly, and prices are reasonable. A mainstay in the Woodland Park community... The title about sums up our impressions, after eating there several times. We came the first time because of the good reviews. While there's nothing wrong with the food, there's nothing particularly excellent about it either. Average is the word. At the same time, the portions seemed small, especially on the side items, so that made the prices seem a... More
