They had a great thin crust pizza that I enjoyed with a Stone IPA seating on their outdoor patio. Tried the chicken sandwich another night and it was way too spicy for me. Needed some Tums that night. Good place to visit with friendly people serving and hanging out there. Enjoyed a couple conversations with some locals.

I showed up not long ago to hear Buffalo Head Fred (they play here some and are fabulous musicians) and had the best time in a long time. I ordered a green chile and cheese smothered burger that was super yummy. I also had a couple beers and appreciated that they weren't overpriced. Maybe the only thing that didn't make... More

This is my home away from home. Whether you want to just go and have a few beers or have dinner or have dinner or spend an evening listening and dancing to boot-scootin' music, Crystola has it all. Rustic old building that has been wonderful maintained as it looked 100 years ago. Great place to hang out anytime.

After years of hearing how great the food is at the Crystola, I finally stopped by. Indeed, our meals were not only delicious but the quantities were enormous! The friendly barkeep kept us in stitches, laughing our meal away. I could spend hours hear after a long day of climbing! Just know in advance that this place isn't fancy, it's... More

A group of us went to the roadhouse to hear a band that had been recommended to us. I was a bit hesitant due to the fact this looks like a little shack/biker bar from the road. The inside is rustic, nice dance floor and the servers were so sweet and friendly! The dance floor was big enough for the crowd... More

Had tickets to see Jimmy Hall, Blues musician. We arrived two hours early to have dinner and find good seating. We had general seating tickets and were told to move to another area of the club. The bar is a long, narrow building and we were placed in the rear area. A long, curved bar stood between us (dining area)... More

I have eaten here a few times. Burgers are surprisingly good (around $6-$7 with fries), and the Green Chile smother is above average (around $8 total). Quesadilla is large, and around $7 and very filling. Decent, nothing special. Folks behind the bar have always been friendly and helpful, even though I'm clearly not their regular clientele. Why 3-stars? I hovered... More

This was recommended to me by two people I know here in the area but I am totally mystified as to why. The waitress was rude to me and there is no ambience. It doesn't appear to be very clean in there and the food .......yuck!

We were invited here by some friends on a Saturday night to see a blues band. Not knowing what to expect we sat down, our friend had reserved seats for us all next to the dance floor. Big Bill Morganfield was playing that night - turns out he is the son of Muddy Waters! Amazing blues man, just like his... More

I've been here many times in the last year, and although I love the history of Crystola Bar & Grill, the service and food has gone downhill in the last several months. I believe it was sold last month and the change of ownership hasn't positively affected things, as far as I can tell. The burgers are okay, especially for... More
