We ate lunch in the middle of the afternoon when there were only a few folks there. Service was great. There were several good vegetarian options - I had a penne dish in a garlic, white wine sauce with way more vegetables than you normally see. There's a 20 minute wait for lasagne - completely understandable when you think about... More

Have now returned twice since Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmare turnaround. The service has improved along w/dispositions (wanted to sit outside on patio even though it was cloudy, the server was happy to show us out to a table, then the sun came out & it was great, just wished umbrella worked). Have now had the Fettucini, Penne, & Eggplant Parm-twice-adding... More

Thank you for the great review! Come back for a visit when you are in the are and ask for me (Julie) I'm usually in the restaurant! Sorry about the umbrellas, the wind this year has not been kind to them and also tore down all the outside patio lights. Hope to see you soon! More

My wife and I stumbled across this place and decided to have dinner there. We both had spaghetti and it was cooked perfectly, mine seemed like it could have used a little more sauce and the meatballs weren't my favorite, but the service was great.

The experience began in the parking lot, where we had to straddle some kind of "slime" that had a horrible smell. Not at all the start you hope for when you decide to try a new restaurant. We went on in, however, expecting a better experience inside. Our food was mediocre, and we felt the prices were high for what... More

Sorry you did not enjoy your visit. I'm confused about the slime? I went to the restaurant to see what this could be, it had rained and I found a puddle of water by the take out window and nothing else. I thought maybe a bear had gotten into the garbage again but did not find that either. I really... More

We went to this restaurant simply because they had gluten free pasta but we were surprised by how excellent the whole experience was. The exterior doesn't look promising, but the inside is beautiful but simple. The menu was also simple, but my fiancé's meatballs sub was good and my gluten free pasta carbonara was glorious; probably the best gluten free... More

It's a treat to be able to step through their front door and be in Italy--the ambience, staff, food, wine--perfect.

We have started a new tradition with a date night meal here at Mangia. They have been offering a special on Sunday evenings that is exceptional! We asked friends to join us a week ago and we all agreed the meal was excellent. Each of us had a different entre and they were all great. The salads were nice and... More

We drive up to Cripple Creek on the weekend, and always stop by Mangia Mangia for dinner! The food is excellent, I love the Pan Seared Salmon! My husband loves the Meat Lasgana. You can tell that they cook everything to order, and that the food is fresh. We have eaten before Kitchen Nightmares came, and after and love the... More

After the big make over we triedit once again hoping the food would be better. It wasn't. We were a group of women all of whom agreed the food was bland, prices too high, bread was extra and we were so unhappy because Italian is pretty easy to cook and there is no excuse for sauce to taste like it...
