Jambalaya was awsome

We did not go the the restaurant, but their jambalaya was served at the Blues From the Top Fesival and it was so good that I had 4 helpings over the course of 2 days.

Fontenot's serves consistently good and spicy food, but every so often they have a really great group to go with it. Tight Like That played at the brunch on the 4th of July this year. The seafood gumbo topped with eggs includes shrimp/crawfish that are certainly NOT native at 9000 ft. The toasted cornbread with syrup finishes a spicy lunch... More

The outside of this restaurant does not match the inside. This place was so cute and very delicious!! Some of the best gumbo I have ever had. Everyone who worked there was very nice.

I'd like to start of this review by saying that me and my family have been long time locals. I went to a wedding here the other night, (spoiler alert: it cost tons of money)... We started dinner at 7:00 however they proceeded to clean up/kick us out by ten. They started cleaning up at nine, and they made us... More

On a weekend trip to Estes Park, my friends and I picked Fontenot's simply because it was open and showing the Kentucky Derby. We had no idea we stumbled upon such a delicious place. We were there for happy hour so we got great prices on drinks and appetizers. We made our dinner out of appetizers after seeing the dinner... More

This amazing chef produces Cajun cuisine that's so mouth-watering, it's worth a drive to Winter Park just for dinner. Gumbo, shrimp, jambalaya and the most delicious seafood bouillabasse! The staff is friendly and professional, the atmosphere is reminiscent of the French Quarter, the wine is the perfect complement to the entrees, and the prices are reasonable, especially since the food... Food was fantastic. If it is a holiday you might want to get a reservation a few days ahead. We did not do that but they sneaked us in between a few reservations since there was only 2 of us. All employees were polite. Worth stopping in if you like seafood.

First, why would I think that a seafood restaraunt smack in the middle of the mountains would be good? I must have been oxygen deprived. The apps were decent, but the three of us in our party all agreed the entrees sucked. Maybe because by that point we had already filled up on apps and bread and were no longer... More

First off, I was pleasantly surprised to find a place that claimed cajun in Winter Park, and was even more surprised at how excellent my experience was, for both dinner and jazz brunch! When we walked in the door, we were greeted and promptly sat in a lively but not crowded room. Fontenot's maintains the cajun atmosphere without feeling disturbing.... More

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Fontenot's Seafood and Grill after a day of skiing. It's on the higher end of the dining scale. The waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was above average. We shared the fried green tomatoes, ochre, and Andouille sausage and barbeque shrimp appetizers, both were very good especially with the French bread. It's not... More
