We visit Winter Park Colorado annually to ski and always dine here. The Bistro offers many gourmet selections and at quite reasonable prices. My wife had the Rainbow Trout and it "was to die for" and I had the shrimp stuffed Sole that was delicious as we'll! The service was great and the atmosphere was "intimate". Even though this restaurant... More

French onion soup was outstanding; not too salty, cheese crispy on the top and gooey in the middle. Trout with pecan crust was a little over-cooked for me, but then again I like my fish under-done. Nevertheless it was a flaky and juicy fillet (no bones!), with a very interesting topping of nuts. Just a little spicy too. I really... More

I've live here for a long time and finally made my way up to the bistro and loved it! Perfect meal for the price and Shayla was a wonderful server.

Hideaway Bistro is a very small restaurant with an absolutely great chef. It is located in a condo (Silverado II). Park underground (free) and find the restaurant about 80 feet down the hall. There is a full bar and about 6 tables. I cannot explain why it is not crowded. One person does the barkeeping and waiting tables. There are... More

Don't ever come here during the holiday rush. Service was horrible to say the least! There was only one server who was not only waiting on tables but also tending bar!. We waited for over an hour before we finally walked out because after we got our drinks, we never saw our server again! It's a shame though because the... More

After reading reviews on trip advisor and seeing that Hideaway Bistro was rated #1, I expected much more. Food was just fair, our food was warm, not hot. Wine list very basic. Service was good, waiter friendly. Ambiance was very much lacking. I get the idea of a casual atmosphere in a ski town but this resturant in the basement... More

We were at the Hideaway Bistro on a quiet night, and had the experience of a lifetime. The chef came to our table, and was willing to customize our dishes - don't expect this during the busy season! The food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. This wasn't our first visit there, and the other times the food was... More

We spent the night in Winter Park on our way to Steamboat Springs and found this little gem in the Grand County Menu Guide. We used our GPS on our IPhone to find it but it took us 2 miles out of town. After recalculating (spelling the road name with Xing instead of crossing) we got right there. Don't be... More

My boyfriend and I came upon the Hideaway Bistro by a chance pick in the menu guide. We were very impressed with the entree selection ($16 - $21). We both had a seafood option with a salad as a starter. The presentation was amazing and the food was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly. The chef/owner even stopped by to... More
