Excellent beer menu (that's what they are known for). Fondue is quite watery and not a real fondue. Mussels were good but the broth was very salty-which was too bad as they had good bread to soak it up with. Brussel sprouts were the hit of the table-well cooked and flavored. Beineits for dessert needed a dipping sauce; maybe chocolate,... More

We have been dropping in to the Cheeky Monk since it opened in Winter Park and, based on our last visit, things are changing. The crystal chandeliers in a ski resort restaurant were, I presume, to match the promise of Belgian beer. Well, there is still Belgian beer on the menu, but it is relegated to second or third place... More

We've been going to the Cheeky Monk both in Denver and Winter Park for a long time. Yesterday may be our last visit. First thing we noticed is they changed all the draft beers... none of our old favorites remain on tap... I think they made a deal with some unknown brewery for most of their taps. Then the menu... Enjoyed fantastic beer and baked macaroni and cheese for dinner. Was disappointed when trying to order mussels and was advised they had been sold out for two days and it wouldn't be available for another day or two. Did feel a bit rushed to get out when waitress gave the bill without asking if I would like another round. But... More

We had 9 people in our group, so we knew it would be a little crazy, but our server was great. We had 4 children who all loved their food. The mussels were spectacular, as was everything else. Don't go if you are in a hurry, but otherwise it was excellent.

Located right at the base of the mountain. Fun spot, friendly staff, and nice food selection...beats the ski lodge scene.

Great beer at a great price during happy hour. There was a touch too much foam though. The bacon and gorgonzola mussels are amazing! Luckily that was my entree since everything else was very bland and not good. It is kid friendly and they have quite a few options for little ones that were sadly better than most of the... More

Last year 2013 we loved this place. Came back in 2014 and was not impressed! They may have changed chef's or management. Don't waste your time.

Been here a few times when in Winter Park. Food always good. Would have given it 5 * but the beer service needs improving. Always pulled to fast so you get 40% froth, 60% beer, (not ideal at these prices) Hence the Cheeky Monk(ey) twist to the title! Would still go back though

Beautiful place to have a beer or eat. Very kid friendly I have 5 kids and had 3 with me. The kids meals are really fairly priced while I enjoyed a few beers after a long day of skiing. Highly recommended.
