We stopped here for dinner to try something new during our stay in Winter Park. It was pretty busy, but they were able to find something for my party of three. The waitress was friendly & pretty attentive despite the large dinner crowd. We're not drinkers, so we can't comment on the beer. The food, however, we thought was excellent.... More

We ate at this restaurant twice, supper and then lunch the next day. The fish and frites were very good along with the hamburger. The 3 grilled cheese sandwich was plain, too much bread, not enough cheese and flavorless. The tomato soup also had no flavor. They gave us 1 fork to share as they were out of forks (???)... More

This was the first Cheeky Monk establishment we have visited. We had high hopes but were disappointed. The fish and frites (fish and chips) had almost no flavor. The bruschetta was okay, whereas usually it's delicious at other places. The amber ale wasn't an amber ale (although they insisted it was). Staff was aloof. We don't know if this is... More

The restaurant was busy, but not full. But that is no reason to have to wait forever for a refill on a glass of water. Especially if the same waitress can refill drinks at the table next to yours with more people. We waited 45 minutes for the appetizer - artichoke/spinach/Gorgonzola cheese dip - and didn't care for it. Time... More

Several of the restaurants in Winter Park Village have very similar menus. Our family stayed for a week and ate in serval of the restaurants, some multiple times. Personally I would like to see more variety on food menus. Having said that, the rueben and the French dip were good. My son thought the Asian wings were outstanding. My husband... More

The food here is super tasty. The service was amazing. However, we tried at least 4 or 5 different beers (tasters) and still didn't find one we liked. After a long day and just wanting to enjoy a good beer, that was disappointing. I understand having a beer list that goes with your "theme" (German/Begian), but add a good wheat... More

Gotta get the fried pickles. Nice and crispy, best I ever had. One of the salads is quite good--the one with the pears on it. I did have to send my first salad back to the kitchen because the pears were frozen in the middle. The waiter apologized, said he picked up the wrong salad, and brought me a good... More

We went to celebrate our friends anniversary. We were seated after waiting in an empty restaurant for 15 minutes, ignored for about 20 minutes, placed our order and then 10 minutes later told they didn't have some of the items. Upon delivery of our meals we noted one was not as ordered to which the reply was "it's the same... More

The spinach dip was delicious. Asked for an entree, they ran out. Asked for a dessert, their waffle iron was unavailable. The server was rude to us after that. What did we do wrong?

In "the village" of Winter Park. Four of us actaully went 2 times in our 5 day stay at Winter Park. Tons and tons of craft beers, amazing service with a smile and beyond friendly. I ordered the Mussels steamed in a white wine cream sauce, blue cheese and bacon. (blue cheese was mild and not at all overpowering) Must... More
