Best Red Sauce - strange atmosphere

Vincenza's red sauce is on a par with some of the finest places in Little Italy, NY. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is great. Bakery items, especially the Tiramisu and Napoleons are sensational and there is no finer bread in Denver. You just have to get past the look of the... read more

Had the unfortunate happenstance to stumble in here for lunch. The most ridiculous menu I have ever seen, serves meatballs but NO spaghetti??? Very pricey and disjointed menu. Waitress was absolutely terrible couldn't figure out how to bring a glass of water... seriously. The owner is an obese, smelly and crude little fellow with dubious hygiene. Noticed the place was... We came because we had a restaurant.com coupon, but since we were the only customers in the restaurant at noon, we should have known it wouldn't be be good and just gone. But we decided to stay for lunch. Everything about the place seemed dusty, dirty, and very unclean, from the obvious dust globs on ceiling pipes to dirty chairs... More

Vincenza's Italian Bakery (and restaurant) has been in business, in this same location, for as long as I can remember, so when I saw a Groupon for discounted food, I decided maybe I should give it a try. We went there for dinner one evening and left quite disappointed. The food tasted like re-heated Schwan's frozen left overs while claims... More

I won't lie, I ended up coming here when Pietra's was closed on a Monday. Since that time I have specifically come back many times. The fresh baked bread is wonderful. Make sure to grab some sweets when leaving from the bakery. I always order the gnocchi and it's the best I've had in the world. The staff here are... More

I have visited this restaurant a number of times. Their clams and linguini were wonderful- more clams than most places, and excellent sauce. The chicken parmesan I had was average... Service has varied from excellent to poor. But I still go back for the food. The most outstanding thing I have had here are the Italian Almond cookies. These are... More

I had lunch here with 2 friends this week. We all ordered Italiano Sausage Sandwiches with a small bowl of minestrone. Was very good. We all had half a sandwich to take home. Dipping sauce was very good. Minestrone had a little spice for flavor, but not overpowering. Staff was very friendly and efficient. We will eat here again.
