Best Red Sauce - strange atmosphere

Vincenza's red sauce is on a par with some of the finest places in Little Italy, NY. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is great. Bakery items, especially the Tiramisu and Napoleons are sensational and there is no finer bread in Denver. You just have to get past the look of the... read more

Vincenza's Italian Bakery (and restaurant) has been in business, in this same location, for as long as I can remember, so when I saw a Groupon for discounted food, I decided maybe I should give it a try. We went there for dinner one evening and left quite disappointed. The food tasted like re-heated Schwan's frozen left overs while claims... More

Horrific experience. Dirty tables and dishes and my mom found a cigarette in her salad! Everyone in the restaurant walked out. Barf!! Don't eat here!!!

I won't lie, I ended up coming here when Pietra's was closed on a Monday. Since that time I have specifically come back many times. The fresh baked bread is wonderful. Make sure to grab some sweets when leaving from the bakery. I always order the gnocchi and it's the best I've had in the world. The staff here are... More

I have visited this restaurant a number of times. Their clams and linguini were wonderful- more clams than most places, and excellent sauce. The chicken parmesan I had was average... Service has varied from excellent to poor. But I still go back for the food. The most outstanding thing I have had here are the Italian Almond cookies. These are... More

I had lunch here with 2 friends this week. We all ordered Italiano Sausage Sandwiches with a small bowl of minestrone. Was very good. We all had half a sandwich to take home. Dipping sauce was very good. Minestrone had a little spice for flavor, but not overpowering. Staff was very friendly and efficient. We will eat here again.

You won't find a better calzone nor pizza than here for the price (both below $10). Bread is made on the premises and is excellent. Red sauce/ragu is amongst the best in the area and I know! I'm married to an Italian! This is a great spot for lunch - no great for dinner if you are looking for quiet... More

It is an Italian bakery with a restaurant. we had the basic fettuccini alfredo, but had to sub linguini as they were out of fettuccini. We added grilled chicken. It was rich, but chicken was dry. Waitress knew that we from out of town and sat with us to explain all of the area. it was good, but I may... More

I have never had a waiter that made me chase him around like this guy. First to place our order, then to fix our order, then again because he forgot something. Chef Boyardee would turn down that pathetic red sauce. The lunch special says choose ANY two items below for $6.50. He would not let me get two of the... More
