Celebratory dinner

I have heard about Luke's for a long time and have wanted to try it, a bit skeptical as it is rather unobtrusive and located in a little strip mall. However, it has charm when inside and is quiet. We ate here for an informational meeting with a special menu, but the salad was delicious and refillable, drinks were bottomless (iced tea, lemonade), the grilled tri-tips were cooked to perfection (medium rare), and the baked potato was large and filling. We don't eat bread, but the baskets at our table emptied quickly by other guests.

I have been taking business professional to Lukes for dinner meetings for 15+ years. Historically they prepare a great steak, but the service/flexibility was LOST in the transition of ownership. Recently, I was entertaining another business client at Lukes for a dinner, and after a couple hours of dining, we asked for a dinner to go at 9:10pm. They refused... More

We had a great brunch at Luke's. They need to get the word out. It was very quiet. The selection was small, but covered a good variety. The food was exceptional, as we have experienced for dinner in the past, and our waitress was fantastic. A great experience.

We wanted a low key but good place on Valentine's Day and found this joint on open table. The location is in a strip mall but do not be fooled, the place is good. We had the mussels for an appetizer and both had steaks cooked to perfection. The side were delicious (blue cheese scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes, Grilled asparagus... More

This steak place was located near to our hotel and recommended by the front desk. After a long day of driving on wicked roads we decided to relax. Everything was very good, the prices were a little on the higher end, but we knew that before we went.

We had been driving all day and just wanted to unwind and have some food. We ordered a beer and a well drink along with salads and two appetizers. My well drink was not good, they said they had put in new 7up but it still tasted like soda water. Eventually after a second try, I had them bring me... More

The bad - my wife and I always wanted to try Luke's. Took her there for her birthday. Booked reservation on Luke's website, easy. Host acknowledged our occasion upon entry and seating (I indicated when booking), no further mention rest of our visit. Atmosphere is not warm, inviting or cozy for the price point of the steaks. Large glass strip... More

We have gone to Luke's many times over the years and love it! The restaurant is intimate and family friendly. Their steaks cannot be beat! The service is consistently gracious. It is a little pricey but the quality of the food is well worth it! The baked potatoes are excellent as are the baked sweet potatoes. Some of the extra... More
