Birthday Dinner

I like this restaurant a lot. The service is quick, with bread and garlic paste and oil is always a favorite. The sauces are good, the only thing I would recommend though, is that if you are dining family style, pick two opposite entrees - don't do two pasta dishes. There just isn't a lot of... read more

Great calamari and yes they make it gluten free!!! Tons of dishes to pick from. I enjoyed the spicy sausage pasta. Never disappointed.

I spent 3 weeks in Italy last year, and this is the first restaurant in the U.S. that equals or surpassed Italian cuisine. The portions were large and tasted fantastic. Inside ambience was great, outside was nice except in fronts on parking lot, but they did a nice job of using decorative fencing and umbrellas.

An extensive menu of appetizers and main courses. The meal started with a friendly waiter and a large and well done Caesar salad with anchovies. The bread was good with a hard crust and tasty olive oil and spices. The main course of seafood over penne pasta was excellent. Large servings of clams, scallops and shrimp. A tasty tomato sauce... Wonderful food in a very pleasant atmosphere. View from the street doesn't do it justice. Family size option on dishes is economical and fun. Had 3 family size dishes for six and had plenty of food. Lots of dishes I've never seen before, and all good. Wish I lived close enough to go there often!

This is a nice place to go if you're in Wheat Ridge or Lakewood. It doesn't necessarily stick out and I found prices to be a tiny bit high but the food is nice quality, good wine list and a nice family, neighborhood spot. They also offer gluten free options which are very tasty and such a nice treat for... More

A friend recommended Abrusci's for Italian, so the family went on a Fri night. We were pleased with the prices and portions on all the food we ordered. We had the family portion of the spinach salad, which was wonderful and then moved on the chicken parm for the main course, enough chicken for four although the pasta could have... More

When this restaurant opened, we couldn't keep away, the food was fresh and well made and spicy. But it's not what it used to be. Their pizzas used to be large with house made crust that was brushed with olive oil and garlic on the sides before baking. They used to make the best Aglio Olio I've ever tasted, spicy... More

We stopped in for lunch on our way through town. Everything we ate was very good and good portion sizes, but a tad pricey for lunch. It was disappointing when my husband asked for parmasean on his pasta and the waitress retrieved a shaker instead of freshly grated cheese.
