Not to say we've never met a "Sweet Tomatoes" that we didn't appreciate, but that wouldn't be the truth. All vacations and any restaurant visit, for that matter, deserve a goto spot that you can depend on and enjoy. Sweet Tomatoes fills that bill for us. Good, fresh ingredients line the bar and soap/pasta/desert area and there's always something for... More

I used to eat at this restaurant a long time ago when I lived on the west coast. At this point it seemed like a standard salad portion of a buffet, without any of the other foods.

Went to Sweet Tomatoes based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor. Nothing good about this place IMO. Only one trip thru the salad bar for $14.95 with a small dinner plate - choices were mostly low quality supermarket stuff - nothing particularly good. Then $2.49 rip off for a bottle of water or soda fountain. Soups were so-so served in... More

It is basically Souper Salad with a much better selection, fresher food and more comfortable booths for about $3-4 more. Usually five soups and one chili. Small pasta selection, but always fresh. Always mac and cheese, but the other two selections rotate (monthly, I think). Typical baked potato bar. Excellent vegetable and salad selection on the main salad bar. Have... More

Sweet Tomatoes has the best salads variety of any restaurant I know. The salads are fresh and the extensive salad bar is clean and well tended. In addition to the salads, the soups and breads are delicious. We always like to top our meal off with some soft serve ice cream. This particular Sweet a Tomatoes actually gave me a... More

Had never been to Sweet Tomatoes so decided to try it. The salads were fresh and tasty and all the soups were wonderful-especially the chowder. The pastas were delicious as were the muffins and other breads. Killer deal-$7.49 for senior lunch including drink. Will return again soo0n.

Very close to my hotel this was an no-brainer on a winter evening for a weary traveler. The salad bar is extensive. The wide selection of soups from around the world guarantee finding something for everyone. A baked potato is another great option with lots of toppings. Various types of bread are very tempting. The desserts are delicious. If you... More

We stopped here while out running errands for something quick, but not fast food. The selection was fresh and a wide variety. The soup was the best part though. All different kinds!

Some friends turned me on to Sweet Tomatoes. The entrance leads to a HUGE buffet of nothing but rabbit food. There is a mixture of already made salads, and some you can make on your own. I was skeptical at first, but the price was right. You start with a tray, and a plate that is like the ones in... More
