The Food here is wonderful! Varied menu was welcomed. Great magician to entertain the kiddos. Our service declined once our waitress was seated a large group, but Mary, the manager made it up to us graciously. Located right near the gondola in Lionshead Village, this is a nice stop for lunch. The day we stopped for lunch, it was sunny and unseasonably warm and we were able to dine outside which was really nice. The members of our group had soup, burgers, and sandwiches. The food was very good; but expensive for lunch. Our service was... More

Atmosphere is very nice, great location at the base of the Lionshead Gondola. Upscale setting/decor, yet relaxed enough to fell comfortable in casual ski attire. The food was very, very good...small serving sizes made up by high quality. Service was excellent.

We had a really good lunch, their soup was amazing! So were the sweet potato fries...a must try! For dinner I had the salmon and my husband had the lemon herb roasted chicken, both were very tasty! The service was very fast and they were all very friendly and attentive, never leaving you with an empty water glass. When we... More

We were looking for a steak house in Lionshead and decided on Vail Chophouse. We got a great table and were pleasantly surprised by a magician that entertained our kids, what a great idea. The food was good lamb chops perfectly cooked, lobster macaroni and cheese and the best was the Buffalo rib eye, highly recommended. Overall considering the great... More

During the Alpine World Ski Championships, we hosted some Swiss friends who wanted to go out for a nice dinner. After lots of research we chose the Chop House. We knew the prices were high but assumed the steak entrees would include at least a baked potato or fries. In actuality, the steaks, starting at $39, are served a-la-carte with... More

We usually plan to have at least one "good meal" during our annual week in Vail, this year we chose the Chophouse because we had enjoyed our visit to the Beaver Creek Chophouse and because of its location in Lionshead, it is at the base of the Eagle Bahn gondola and close to convenient parking. We were not disappointed, we... More

My husband and I had dinner here during our recent stay. I used to work for Vail Resort (in Vail), so I am very familiar with their "quality" as well as working in other high end guest service positions....so I know a think or two about quality food. Seeing the prices for the steaks on here blew my mind...I've had... More
