On the last day of our CO vacation Hub and I decided to eat at the Vail Chophouse in Lionshead Village, Vail. There are plenty of seats outside under umbrellas, thank goodness as it was pleasantly toasty/warm. The hostess was very warm and friendly and sat us immediately. It was VERY busy. We were lucky enough to have a view... More

Horrible experience all around. Made a reservation and upon arrival was seated and when we asked to relocate they told us they were understaffed and that would be difficult...After moving to a different table 10 minutes passed as staff tried to figure out who was going to wait on us. Then drinks were ordered and great (cocktails) and one of... More

My mom and I stopped here for lunch. It was not overly crowded and we were able to secure a table outside facing the Lionshead gondola/ski slope and mountain scenery. Great spot for people watching. The weather was perfect - sunny and warm. We both had the turkey club croissant. The sandwich was huge. The turkey was fresh and there... More

Finished a gondola ride to the top at Lions head Village Vail & chose this restaurant for a late lunch. We had great sandwiches and wouldn't hesitate having dinner there. Thank you Meg.

Having been doing all my skiing in the huge 3 Vallees in France, I have now done 3 lots of 3 weeks in Vail. Despite having visited Most of the best restaurants in Vail I highly rate the Chophouse as the ever day visit. The chophouse is NOT overpriced, it is far better value than eating at the self service... More

Prices compare to a top notch restaurant but the food isn't up to par. Location is very good just at the base of the gondola.

Best Steak and Seafood in Vail. Great service and a magician kept us entertained. Located at the base of Lionshead Gondola. Watch the slopes while you dine.
