We hosted a group dinner while in Vail at the Chophouse. Great location, walking distance from hotel. We sat outside and had some drinks with great views of the mountain. They gave us a private room in the back for our meal. Service was great and the good was excellent. They were accommodating for dietary issues and even had a... More

I enjoyed dinner at the Vail Chophouse on Sunday August 10, 2014. I was part of a large business dinner party. My experience was very good. I had the filet medium and it was prepared nicely. The char was tasty and the meat was tender and very good. The blue cheese bacon macaroni was excellent as were the mashed potatoes.... More

We had lunch here mainly because of their gluten free options and the food was good, not great. We came back for drinks several times over the week because they serve "milk stout" which is one of my favorites. As other posters note the service is not even par with anything else in Vail. We had to hunt our server... More

Our family stopped here for dinner on Sunday evening. It was a lovely, cool evening and being from Arizona,, we wanted to have dinner outdoors., After viewing the menus at several restaurants in Lionshead, including Tavern on the Square directly across from Chop House, we opted for Chop House because we had had the Brie appetizer last year. Incidentally, that... More

Wonderful place to relax outside slope side and also to people watch! Great place to meet friends or just dine as a couple. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We actually had occasion to dine there twice and enjoyed both evening meals! The menu is extensive so you are able to order something simple or more on the pricey... More

I had 35 people to plan a nice dinner for in Vail Colorado. Vail Chop House was every bit of amazing. EXTREMELY accommodating, professional, and down right delicious. Planning this dinner from Chicago, was the easiest part of the entire trip. I worked with Cameron Lowe and the service from him and his staff was superb. The meals were enjoyable... More

Four of us went here for dinner and only one person enjoyed their entree. The two steaks at the table were ordered medium and medium-rare...they both came out well done. Some of the carrots were cooked, some weren't. The lobster tail was maybe two or three bites. Their mashed potatoes were good though! We left disappointed, especially after spending that... More

We chose the Vail Chophouse mainly for it's location...a wonderful patio dining area with a view of the mountains up from the chair lift...just gorgeous! The food was good, a bit pricey (even for Vail!) but we were real disappointed in the service...our waitress seemed like we were a bother! We had to hunt her down to get tea refills... More

On the last day of our CO vacation Hub and I decided to eat at the Vail Chophouse in Lionshead Village, Vail. There are plenty of seats outside under umbrellas, thank goodness as it was pleasantly toasty/warm. The hostess was very warm and friendly and sat us immediately. It was VERY busy. We were lucky enough to have a view... More

Horrible experience all around. Made a reservation and upon arrival was seated and when we asked to relocate they told us they were understaffed and that would be difficult...After moving to a different table 10 minutes passed as staff tried to figure out who was going to wait on us. Then drinks were ordered and great (cocktails) and one of... More
