Exceptionally friendly staff here and their house Bloody Mary is like a delicious appetizer in itself. The food is quite good, we ordered one of their Mac and cheese dishes and the Colorado Bass with brussel sprouts instead of quinoa. ....yummy.

I think their prices are normal for Vail, but you get a lot of tastey food for the dollar. I can not finish an entire meal and I want all the apps and sides because they are all delicious. So what we do is split an App= the Brie is great, split a dinner, split that wedge salad it is... More

We ate here twice on our trip, and we have eaten here on previous trips. Love the views of the mountain and gondola sitting out on the patio, as well as the friendly service. Salads were great, as were crab cakes and appetizers. Always a good selection so wines too. We will continue to return!

We were there over the "20.14" weekend where entrées cost $20.14. Vail chophouse was offering prime rib or a 1 1/2 Lb lobster, which seemed like a good deal. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy to begin with so that should have been a sign, regardless service was painfully slow. My beer came out after we had finished the appetizer and... More

A group of 5 of us had a delicious meal here. The server was attentive and kind. Salads, appetizers, soup (Loaded baked potato), crab cakes, steaks, crab and avocado salad, prime rib,... were all top notch.

Currently they are running an amazing lunch special. Don't quote me on the price but if I remember correctly it is $21.97 for A three course lunch. You get to choose between a Caesar salad or field green salad for the first course and then between a burger and another option and then dessert which is wait her a chocolate... More

We stopped in here for lunch. For one thing, don't get the $7.99 pretzels on the menu. They are just J&J Snackfood Super Pretzels from Costco. My girlfriend had the Tuscon Chicken; the chicken was very dry and the sandwich was cold by time it came out. The bread was probably the only thing that was good on it. I... More

Arrived with more than the reservation was for, and although they were booked, they added a table and were able to accommodate us. Decanted the wine nicely. Food was very good and done to all our liking.

The tavern is better in almost every aspect. Unless your server is Kevin, then you're in for a good night. He is great.

We went for the bargain lunch special (trout linguine) and were totally surprised. The portions were generous, the food was exceptionally tasty and the price was very reasonable.
