Good patio spot for lunch

Ate lunch on the patio overlooking Eagle Bahn gondola and Vail mountain. Food was very good, server very attentive. Had a cup of their soup of the day and chicken salad sandwich on croissant. Both were very good. Nice place to sit outside on a cool summer day.

We met friends here for drinks and apre-ski. The wine list was fine. They offered what appeared to be a great deal on a large, mixed seafood platter for $50. It was an extremely generous serving so we shared it among 3 people. That sufficed for our dinner which was a dining bargain in Vail. We have been back a... More

My wife wanted steak on vacation and so she made reservations here. When we arrived it was obvious that we didn't need them as it was empty. That should have tipped us off as to what was coming. The steaks were mediocre and the sides were worse. The mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless and the broccoli was warmed at... More

Fantastic location. Staff was slow and had trouble keeping the orders straight (3 servers for 12). The food came out late and the steaks were cold. Mine (NY Strip) was cold and overlooked. Sides were smaller than advertised and mediocre. The bar was limited. All is a poor outing. I go to high dollar steak places with clients every once... More

We always have a super wonderful experience when we go to the Vail Chop House! The food is wonderful and there is a large variety of dishes. The service is always first-rate, and, if we're really lucky, sometimes at dinner time, our friend Dan the Magician comes to pay our table a visit and thrill us with his amazing talents!... More

Mixed greens salad very good. Did not offer us fresh cracked pepper. Steak was not juicy and not hot. Ordered medium rare. Called a connoisseurs's steak. Looked more like a low end steak house piece of meat. Crab cakes full of celery with shredded shredded crab no pieces of crab. Asked for cocktail sauce. Tasteless with no "zip". Mushrooms were... My daughter and I walked in and took a seat on the patio. We were warmly welcomed, and they told us our dogs could be on the patio with us and we could pick any table. We put the dogs just outside the little fence (they are big dogs who aren't always behaved) and the hostess filled two dog bowls... More

Recently, I attended a business dinner and it was really satisfactory. Not only the food was completely ok, but the waiters was extremely friendly and took care of any detail and demand.

Magician was phenomenal. One of our New York strips was delicious but the other was way below average. Full of grizzle! I Loved the beat salad and the service was fantastic.
