So Good

Beautiful restaurant!! This establishment has been in Vail since the 60's and still owned by the same man who still works in the kitchen. Gorgeous atmosphere and food was heavenly! Prime Rib is their specialty and the Apple Strudel. We also shared a delicious salad.

This place was somewhat lacking in atmosphere, we found the room cold and it would have benefitted from some background music! The food, however, was delicious. The speciality is the beef rib, we also had a steak, salmon and chicken. All very good.

Actually enjoyed my flashback dinner. Prime Rib and baked potato. The waiter brought the sour cream , bacon and horseradish sauce in one of those stainless steel merry-go-round servers! The Martina's were great! Had a lemon basil martini. I would recommend this place, if only for déjà vu!

The prime rib was perfectly acceptable, but nothing memorable! Our waitress did everything short of grab our forks and force feed us to turn the table over. A big part of the reason I am willing to pay exorbitant prices for dinner at Vail Village is for the opportunity to have a relaxing conversation with my kids after a day... More

This restaurant is known for their prime rib, although there are many other items on the menu. The restaurant appears to have undergone some renovation since our last visit. There is increased seating in the bar area and the dining room. We started with an order of the escargots en croute. The escargots were in a delicious garlic butter sauce... More

Many go to Lancelot for the prime rib and beef, I go for the trout! The trout is simplynthe best in Vail Valley! The service was impeccable. Lancelot is one of the original restaurants in Vail; it has withstood the test of time - you will not be disappointed!

We were lucky to get in without a reservation since it was packed the maitre was very kind and sat us down quite quickly. Steaks were very well cooked, New York strip was awesome and so was the Prime Rib, we were surprised with the salmon very well done. Deserts were delicious and the wine list had good choices. Service... More

Highly recommend prime rib. Call for reservation. Nice scenery and price is not too bad. Kids are welcome. Mine were 5 and 1.

The steaks aren't for the faint hearted or those not looking for a meat feast. Specially cooked as a chef special recipe they are big. There are no accompanying vegetables except a baked potato which was excellent and come with a choice of sour cream chives, bacon and lashings of horseradish sauce, but we ordered asparagus, mushrooms and green beans.... This was our second time to Lancelot, and it was as good as we remembered! The bartender was very friendly while we waited for our table (with good Happy Après ski hour prices), the service at dinner was also very good. The atmosphere is upscale casual...some people were dressed up, while others were in their ski clothes. And, the food... More
