Description: The Westside Cafe is Vail's best casual restaurant; voted best breakfast, best lunch, best casual dinner & best family dinner by the Vail Daily and the top review sites. The food is inspired by the excellent family cooking that we all grew up with, American comfort food done just right. You'll feel at home while enjoying a great meal in our relaxed, 'Vintage Vail' themed dining room and bar. Our renowned Chef, Mike Irwin has created a casual menu that keeps our locals and out of town guests coming back again and again. We offer extensive menus, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with something for everyone. Our comfortable bar and great happy hour is a local tradition! Happy hour runs from 3-6 pm daily features; $3 ice cold draft beers, $3.95 glasses of wine, 25% off bottled wine , 50% off appetizers $5.95 margaritas, bloody marys, and martinis. Come in relax, smile, and forgot about pretentious Vail for a while. 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back!

We enjoyed breakfast at the Westside Cafe. We has a large party of nine, seven adults and two children under four years old. They accommodated us quickly with seating, orders and our drinks never were dry. Everyone had great meals. Best of all, we felt comfortable and welcome to stay and talk at our leisure!

Our family stays in Vail 3-4 times per year. We have tried a few breakfast places and this one is by far the best place in town. Everything we've had on the menu has been excellent - pancakes, bacon, eggs benedict, and breakfast burrito. Service is always great and prices are very reasonable.

This place is what I look for when going to a local spot. I eat there for breakfast frequently, and I've never had a bad meal. Love the omlets, and they have a great selection of benedicts, too. And you should try the cap'n crunch french toast! Also, they have a great bloody mary available in 3 flavors. I've been... More

My wife and I had just left the Steadman Clinic and were hoping to find a place for breakfast before we left to return home. Luckily I found the Westside Cafe that served breakfast and lunch. We were met by Abigail, who was very friendly and told us we could take our time. My wife had an omelet and I... More

Our family of four came here for dinner based on the Tripadvisor reviews. It is in West Vail, so not easily accessible from the resort area but worth the trip. Apparently they are known for their breakfast, which we didn't have, but the dinner was also pretty good. Its a mid-range family-type restaurant with reasonable prices. Generous portions, and a... The food selection was excellent. It isn't a cheap place to eat, however. It appeared that it was a local favorite. Nice choices for breakfast.

The omelets are large, have very fresh ingredients and are delicious. Usually the wait staff is very friendly, but our waitress was efficient but not very friendly. Coffees and teas are good and large cups, happily refilled often.

I hate to admit it, but TripAdvisor let us down on this one. We went for dinner, and at best it was only so so. After a day of skiing, some good comfort food sounded good. Reading the reviews, we thought this would fit the bill, the prices seemed good (for Vail standards), and the reviews were pretty good. In... More

Ate here our last day in Vail. Wish I had known about it sooner! Great menu, lots of variety. Good prices. Off the charts huevos rancheros and egg Benedict choices. The staff was so friendly and helpful. DELICIOUS! One of my favorite meals while in Vail!

Decided to give the restaurant another try and took 9 people for dinner. Overall everyone was pleased with their choices. Our table was closer to the door then I like and felt a bit chilly. Table could've been cleaner. There was something sticky that one of us got on her sleeve from the table. That is kind of gross. Server... More
