Deservedly, Vail is a top ski vacation destination in the world, but what do you do with your non-skier friends who want to spend some time on the mountain and take in the high country experience? A great way to get non-skiers on the mountain is to have dinner at the Game Creek Club. We love this place. It takes... More

The view going up to the restaurant and from the restaurant were breathtaking and the meal matched perfectly.

The Game Creek Restaurant is an overall experience to enjoy with friends and family. We arrived at the Eagle Bahn gondola a half hour before our dinner reservation. The sunset gondola ride up the mountain was amazing followed by a snowcat ride to the restaurant. I would suggest wearing shoes with some sort of grip suitable for snow and ice.... More

We were excited to arrive via snow cat which was very comfortable. If you are afraid of heights avoid the downhill side! We started with the "on the green" cocktail which was very good (Hendricks gin, cucumber, lime, and dill). Then on to the outstanding pork belly - the best I have tasted. I started with a sunchoke panna cotta... More

We had a really nice dinner here. From the trip up on the Eagle Bahn gondola (reeked of pot - ah, the new Colorado) which was beautiful at sunset and where they handed us nice blankets for the trip up), to the fun snowcat ride, to the beautiful views from the balcony, the experience was wonderful. The dinner was an... More

From going up the gondola, riding in the (yes, slightly pimped-out) snowcat through the swirling snow, to the doorway was awesome; the trip back (with slightly better visibility) was just as good. In between, it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Started with the pork belly, which was delicious; the salad was good, but, well, I love... More

Ride the gondola up, and snowcat to the restaurant. The Chef made special adjustments for us. Great experience for a special occasion or to cap off your visit to Vail. Book well in advance.

When we made the first reservation, I simply thought it would be fun for the girls (almost 13 and 9.5) to sit in the snowcat. The menu didn't jump out or anything. First of all, Roy our driver was completely amazing and the snowcat was really fun. He even let our girls sit shotgun and it was very memorable. We... More

Visited with my wife and three boys (6, 4, 2). Not only was everything original and delicious, but the chef also took into account some dietary restrictions and adjusted the recipes for us. We went early to enjoy the sunset from atop the mountain with spectacular views. Staff was superb, and of course the experience of riding up the gondola... More

We must have picked the worst weather to go up to Game Creek Lodge for dinner but in a way it added to the experience that it was snowy, up in the gondola wrapped in blankets then on the snowcat, great fun followed by fabulous food! (ps where are Berkshire pigs from guys!!!???!!!!)
