Start at gondola 1 and enjoy the beautiful view vail has to offer at night. Once on top of the mountain, a very nice lady greeted us and pointed us towards the "snowcat" which then climbed up some more to take us on a pretty unbelievable ride. The restaurant looks out of a snow bubble. It is very warm and... More

The gondola and the CAT ride to the restaurant were the coolest part of this adventure. The food was fine. I liked my food even though it was fussy. I enjoyed 3 out of 4 courses. It was definitely an experience, but I would be happy with a beer and a slice of pizza. You should go once, but I... More

Everything still terrific here, although I did miss the blankets offered to us at the beginning of our gondola journey that we were so generously given last time. I also want to say we were given a glass of champagne on the way up last time too, a lovely touch also missed. Roy, our Snow Cat driver was a gentleman... More

Ok I planned this special evening for my family of 6 tonight. The gondola ride and snow cat trip were outstanding. The food and service were very good. The problem I had was that the temperature at our table was so hot that two of of our party actually got sick. We alternated going out to the porch to cool... More

There are many great restaurants in the Vail area but this by far was an excellent choice. The food was an amazing combination of flavors, leading to savory explosion in your mouth. Down to the bread, Game Creek won't disappoint. Recommend eating at dives during the other meals to save up for this pricey splurge!

Just the experience of the gondola ride up and then a snowcat ride back to the restaurant was fun in itself! We had the 3 course dinner with wine pairings and everything was fantastic! The building is beautiful and the service was wonderful. The gentleman who suggested the wines with each course was very knowledgeable. I had only gone for... More

First, the food (we had 5-course dinner pre-fix) was excellent. The flavors was unique and used local meats (elk, etc). By far, our favorite place to eat in Vail (and we tried all the other top rated restaurants too - Sweet Basil, Mountain Standard, etc) The experience of getting to and from the restaurant was also very fun. You have... More

What an experience. The gondola ride is a must do in the day time and at night it is just as beautiful. Now the snowcat ride from the gondola to the restaurant was thrilling. It was really snowing so we couldn't see much from our side. The driver had to go on an incline and then stopped, which felt like... More

What a great evening. It started with a greeter at the gondola to check us in and offer blankets for the ride up. To another greeter at the top to help whisk us away on our journey to the lodge via snowcat. Upon arrival we enjoyed a cocktail in the lounge while they prepared our table and were promptly seated.... More

I had not heard of this restaurant in the past but learned of it from my brother who lived in Vail. I am glad we made the trek to get there on the gondola and the snowcat because it was a great experience overall. Taking the gondola there at sunset was beautiful. I was able to get some really pretty... More
